"The SECOND mission is going to be a big one!" Hongchul announced on the second day. "THIS will be your first stage!"

"Already?!" I muttered.

Ryujin sighed next to me.

"The top 9 will be standing on the stage, while the lower classes will be standing as backup dancers, or not even on stage at all! This is a fierce competition to shine on stage!" Hongchul said. "But there's more!"

"There will be video evaluations, this deciding the ranks. The song you will be performing and practicing is..." Hongchul said.

A video popped up of Teddy, followed by a song called "Just Dance." It was catchy, and the main dance was really cute.

At least make it into A-class. Pleasepleasepleaseplease-

"Shin Ryujin, 27th place, A-Class."

Ryujin let out a sigh next to me, but I stayed tensed, hoping to hear my name in the A-class.

"Now announcing B-class members." Hongchul said.

I closed my eyes in frustration. "At least B-class."

Ryujin put a hand on my shoulder, she was cheering for me too.

"...Now announcing C-class."

My heart dropped. My rank is that low? I felt embarrassed to be in JYP and be in C-class. The lowest class. I felt a lump in my throat and my eyes stung with tears. This isn't what I was looking for, am I not working hard enough?

WOO JINYOUNG POV.

I sighed in relief as my name was called in B-class. At least I wasn't C-class, or even lower. But I knew I could do better than this, I won't get eliminated like last time in Produce 101.

"Hwang Jihyun, 70th place, C-class."

My jaw dropped, and I scanned the crowd, looking for Jihyun's face. How is she so low? Her skills and visuals are better than some in even B-class, and she should be popular because she's in JYP.

I saw Jihyun's expression harden as she dropped her head looking at her feet. I frowned, feeling sorry for her.

HWANG JIHYUN POV.

I walked to the first class for C-class, sighing the entire time. How did I make C-class? Was I that bad??

Maybe this was a bad idea, after all.

I silently sat down in front of the teacher, Suran. I felt intimidated a little since her music was so good, and she was so pretty.

Suran scanned the crowd. "Looks like you all aren't happy about being C-class."

I nodded.

"That's why, you just need to practice to get up. Don't worry."

Everyone's faces lifted.

"Okay, I guess we'll start practicing, then." Suran said, before explaining the songs and lines.

C-class practiced for a while, but I (as usual) had a hard time making friends so I practiced alone in a corner.
