IX. Born Hater

"INTRODUCING, 9OOD 9IRL!" Hongchul called.

I heard cheers and my team did a group cheer before stepping onstage to perform. We got in our positions and the music started.

(A/N: let's just pretend Jihyun is in here:))

I heard screams as I started my rap, a few people holding a sign with my name on it. Their cheers gave me a lot of confidence and made me work harder.

The performance wrapped up perfectly, and the member I was most worried about, Hyunjung, did better then I thought, so I was satisfied.

We got off stage, waiting our way back into the waiting room where the Born Hater team was.

"Kim Sangwon?" I asked, as he passed by me. I remembered his words, doubting me as the leader.

He turned to me and smiled sheepishly. "I suppose you can rap."

"Haha," Jieun put an arm around my shoulder. "You sure are surprised aren't you? This is our hidden weapon!" (A/N: omg I kind of ship Jieun and Sangwon now)

Our team cheered and I grinned.

"I'm shocked that you can rap so well." Jinyoung said to me. "But we'll do better." Then he smirked, and left.

"Don't tell him I said this, but he was staring at you the whole time." Choi Hyunsuk from YG whispered to me loudly.

"AHAHAHA!!" My members burst out laughing. "Jihyun, I think he's into you!!"

I recalled the sexy-dance and heat rose to my face. "Well, time to go kill myself." I joked.

Everyone laughed.

We turned serious as the monitor in front of us turned on, and the Born Hater performance started.

Their team did so well together. They all had a unique rap style, especially Jinyoung, his part was super eye-catching. But he was so small compared to some of the other members that he looked cute, until he rapped of course.

When the performance ended, I got more nervous. The winning team would get a bonus 2000 points, and my rank could get lower if I didn't have that, causing me to be possibly eliminated.

"Aghh they did really good..." I muttered in distress.

"It's okay it's okay!" Jieun assured all of us.

Both teams were called up on the stage for the final scores.

"Leader Jihyun, how do you feel about the performances?" Hongchul asked.

The crowd's cheers erupted when my name was called which surprised me.

I held the mic to my mouth. "Well, our team worked very hard for this, so I'm hoping for good results. The born hater team was very impressive, I think both teams did very well."
