XXVIII. Pretty

I lifted my head and planted a kiss on his cheek, retreating as fast as I did the action.

Jinyoung's smile basically stretched to his ears and I turned away, noticeably embarrassed that I did that, and in public at that.

"JIHYUNNIEEEE!"

I shoved my hand in Jinyoung's face, preventing him from getting any closer. "We will not speak of this again."

Jinyoung squealed (like a little kid) and grabbed his heart. "Is this how you feel when I do those things?"

I stuck out my bottom lip. "Yeah, this is how much suffering you put me through."

"It's a good kind of suffering, though." He smiled again. "You're. So. Cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee."

"Stop that."

"You know I won't."

I stayed silent, chewing the bottom of my lip.

"The light show is gonna start soon, lets go!" Jinyoung pulled me up from the bench.

"Ooookay."

The light show started, with a massive BOOM! From the start. I jumped 50 feet in the air in surprise.

"Woahhhh!" I said in awe at the show. It was beautiful, there was water flying everywhere along with people doing tricks and lights as well.

Jinyoung took this moment to wrap his arms around my waist and rest his chin on my shoulder from the back. I could feel his stares, but I tried to ignore it and look at the light show instead.

Now he was grinning right at me. STOP THAT--

"Isn't this the prettiest you've ever seen?" I asked, turning my head to glance at him.

He smiled. "No."

"You wanna know what's the prettiest thing I've seen?" He asked, as his face neared mine.

My mind flew out of my head for 2 seconds straight and I froze.

Jinyoung pressed his lips against mine, pulling back in a flash, and with a happy grin. "You are."

I stopped breathing. Did this guy.........

DID WOO JINYOUNG JUST KISS ME?

I opened my mouth to say something, put nothing came out.

Jinyoung just laughed, and I felt the heat crawling up my face, body, toes--

"JINYOUNG!!"

"Yeesssss Jihyun?" He asked feigning innocence.

I puffed my cheeks out. "Why did you do that..."

"Isn't it obvious by now?"

"It is obvious, you don't have to say it--"

"I like you."

My heart sped up even faster at his words, even though I knew it already. "I-I-uh-wow-"

"What about you?" Jinyoung asked.
