XXXXIII. I Love You

Jinyoung and I made our way into the fancy restaurant. Literally everyone was dressed nicely, and the place was decorated with beautiful flowers and lights. It had a very romantic atmosphere.

We sat down at a table. There were flowers there, too.

"Woah...." I said in awe as I admired the place. "It's so fancy."

Jinyoung nodded proudly. "I chose well."

"Why are we suddenly eating at such a fancy place today though?" I asked.

Jinyoung chuckled. "No reason, my princess."

We soon ordered our food, and when it came out I was shook at how beautiful it was. The food was so beautiful I didn't want to eat it. But of course, I did anyways.

We finished eating, and Jinyoung excused himself to go to the bathroom, leaving me alllll alone.

"Tonight, we have a special event for the lovely couple sitting in this restaurant." A voice boomed throughout the restaurant.

"Hm?" I looked up, as the lights dimmed. How cute...I wonder who?

Music started playing, and I immediately recognized it as the song "Marry Me", since Jinyoung just lovessss singing that song.

Aw, is there going to be a proposal? I thought to myself. Jinyoung should see this.

A spotlight suddenly turned on, and my eyes widened because it was on me.

Then another spotlight turned on, and I looked at the direction. My jaw dropped to the floor.

There Jinyoung was, smiling brightly and happily, holding a microphone and walking towards me from the other side of the room.

Everyone in the restaurant cheered and clapped loudly, as the song started. We were both well known, and our relationship was well known to the public as well, but everyone looked like they were amazed and shocked.

My heart started thumping a million times faster, as Jinyoung started singing. He was looking right at me, while never loosing that angel smile of his. Is this really happening?? Am I dreaming??

I was completely blown away. It suddenly made sense, from the fancy restaurant, to the girls insisting that I look nice for the date. He's proposing...

The entire restaurant was filled with Jinyoung's beautiful voice, and the song "Marry Me". My heart was literally spinning around in circles and jumping inside of my chest, and I forgot how to breathe for a long time.

Jinyoung neared me, pulling me up onto my feet and holding my hands, all while looking into my eyes, and my heart.

I was so shocked, I couldn't do anything but smile and watch him. I could already feel my eyes watering.

"Marry me darling,"

The song was ending, with only the last line left. My heart thumped loudly as Jinyoung got down on one knee and pulled out a small velvet box, opening it to reveal the beautiful and shining ring inside.

"Will you marry me?" He sang the last words in the song, therefore ending it.

My eyes started to water more and my heart was about to burst. I couldn't do anything but cover my mouth and nod, tears slipping out of my eyes.

"Y-yes, I-I will m-marry y-you..." I managed to say, covering my eyes to hide my tears.

Everyone in the restaurant stood up, clapping and cheering loudly.

Jinyoung chuckled and pulled my hand down, so he could slip the ring onto my ring finger. He smiled, grabbing both sides of my face and wiping my tears away, leaning in to give me a delicate kiss on the lips.

"I love you." He muttered.

"I-I love you too." I managed to say.

"Stop crying~" He chuckled and wiped my tears again.

"H-how can I not--I-I'm s-s-so happy--" I sobbed and cried.

Jinyoung put his arms around me, giving me a hug. My chin rested on his shoulder, and I cried. Just cried happy tears.

It's been 7 years.

7 years since mixnine.

7 years since I met Jinyoung.

7 years since I debuted.

I made it this far. The hard times are over, replaced with nothing but happiness.
