THIRTEEN

Merilize wipe off her mouth sitting back in her chair looking at James.

"Can't you just ask someone else to stand in your place and sell whatever you want to?" Merilize asked with a sad look in her eyes.

"I wish I could." Came the reply. James look up at her and take her hand. "I'll be back as soon as possible."

"What if it happens there what happened here?" Merilize asked raising an eyebrow at him. "You're gonna stay there if you missed that place too."

"I just want to end that part of my life in a proper way okay." He said serious standing up from his seat same as she. He came infront of her and touch her cheek. "Honey, I use to tell everyone there, 'my ex-wife has a farm'. I don't want to say that anymore. I want to say, "me and my wife has a farm'."

"I'm not your wife." Merilize chuckled with tears in her eyes.

"Not yet." He replied and pull her in for a hug. "Everything will be okay."

"I love you." She whispered in his neck.

"I love you too." He whispered back and lift up her chin placing his lips on hers.

James lay Merilize carefully down on her bed not separating their lips once.

His hands run all the way up her thighs lifting her dress a bit more where he's rested between her legs just making out with her.

The next morning early, all dressed and set to go James stood outside at his vehicle looking at Merilize that stood there with her arms fold.

"I'll call you." He promised and touch her cheek wiping away a tear.

"Yeah." She replied unhappily. "I'll be waiting."

"It's okay." He comfort her and pull her into a hug.

"I know." She said shutting her eyes tight giving him a tighter hug. "I didn't know that I'm gonna miss you so much."

"I miss you already." He replied and look at her kissing her lips over and over again. They stood a while still and after a split second he pull away slowly and got into his car. "I'll see you again honey."

"I'll be waiting." She replied with a lump in her throat. "Bye."

"Bye love." He greeted back and started driving off.

She just stood there watching him drive off. With her arms fold she started crying a river of tears trying her best to hold it in only to fail at the end.

I'm gonna complain about my own story now.

I just feel like the storyline is going a bit too fast...few of the chapters are very short...I get reads, but no comments or so on...

Am I doing something wrong?

Did I choose the wrong cast?

Is this nothing like you imagined it'd be?
