Laylani was sitting at home waiting for her best friend to hurry up and bring his butt over so they could go ahead and go over to the party that he talked her into going to, she was halfway into the kitchen when she heard a knock at the door.
She changed directions and opened the door when she seen Armon standing in the door with a slick smile on his face.
" Boy you took forever ." She said walking away. He closed the door and followed behind his Bestfriend that was going into the kitchen.
" And you not even dressed." He said looking her over. She was wearing burgundy velvet shorts with matching cropped shirt with her black slides.
" My outfit sitting on my bed and I knew you were gonna be late and I refused to just be sitting in the outfit waiting on you." She said pointing at him. He shrugged and she made her way up the steps to her room to get dressed.

Laylani and Armon made it to the party they both were already turnt and they both had a few drinks but weren't close to being drunk right now they were dancing on each other , but nobody thought anything about it cause they knew that they were best friends.
Trey came over with his date and started dancing next to his brother and sister since they became so close that's what they called each other, the Dj decided to slow it down so a few parted and found some spots to stand off to the side.
" I'll be right back I'm gonna go to the bathroom " Laylani said to Armon. He nodded she slipped through the people that were still dancing. She made it to the bathroom and knocked on the door she opened to door to the empty bathroom but before she could close the door somebody pushed their way in.
" What the hell are you doing dude?" Laylani asked with the what the fuck look on her face. But he didn't say anything he smashed his lips onto hers. Laylani was taken back her Bestfriend was kissing her. Yes she thought of Armon as more then a Bestfriend but she didn't know if he thought the same.
She finally kissed back and Armon smiled into the kiss he placed his hands on her ass picking her up and sitting her on the counter kicking the door closed Laylani wrapped her arms around him as the kiss deepened and got heated till he pulled back.
" I have been wanting to do that for the longest I just didn't know when to do it." He said with his forehead against hers looking into her eyes as a blush crept up on her face.
" Well I honestly was waiting on you to make the first move cause I been feeling a certain way about you." She said full on blushing.
He looked her. " Why didn't you say anything?" He asked letting his attitude get him. She was taken back. " I mean I didn't wanna ruin or friendship and I didn't know if you felt the same." She said.
He was now pissed he pulled away from her and left the bathroom leaving the party and leaving her, she didn't know what was going on she left the bathroom looking around for him when she realized he left.
" Trey can you take me home please." She asked walking up to him. " Yea where did Bro go?" He asked confused. All she did was a shrug. So Trey Laylani and his date all left Laylani sitting in the back looking out the window once they got into the car. She didn't even notice that they were sitting outside her house noticing Trey was look at her with worry.
" Thank you brother." She said with a smile and hugging him while her was still in the driver seat. " Welcome sis text me ok." She nodded and got out the car walking to her front door.
3 Weeks Later
Laylani was tetxting Armon ever since that night but he never replied nor called and she just gave up she was currently waiting for Trey so they could go to the mall.
She heard a knock on the door she darted down the stairs to see Trey who had a smile on his face that made her smile back and gave him a hug.
" You ready" He asked. " Yea lemme go grab my wallet phone and keys." She said going back up the stairs she grabbed her phone and checked it to see nothing she sighed and grabbed the other two items.
At the mall.
They were currently sitting at the food court with their bags sitting around them laughing at the corny jokes they made.
" Bro can I ask you something?" She said as the laughter dies down. "Yea sis what's wrong?" He asked. " Have you talked to Armon about anything?" She asking playing with her thumbs.
" He hasn't been talking to anybody honestly and he usually talks to me about any and everything." He said rubbing the back of his neck. " Oh ok." With that she looked around and noticed Armon but he wasn't alone he had his arm around some girl they were laughing and seemed to be walking towards her and Trey.
" Hey can we leave?" She said with urgency in her voice. Trey was confused. " Yea what's wrong?" He said getting up, but before she could say anything she was interrupted.
" Wassup bro bro?" Armon said dapping Trey he completely ignored Laylani and that hurt her . Trey looked at Laylani then back at his brother. " Nothing much we were just about to leave." He said
Armon looked at him then at Laylani but when he looked at her ther was no emotion she was fighting back tears but she didn't know why nor did she know why he was acting the way he was.
" Oh iight bro see you at the house then." Armon said grabbing the girl hand and walking away. Trey came over to Laylani giving her a hug right then and there the tears spilled onto his shirt.
What did I do? Why was he acting this way towards me? Many more questions where swimming around her head but she didn't have any answers to them.
" Hey you ready to go?" Trey asked raising her head and wiping away the tears. She took a deep breath and nodded and with that they grabbed their bags and made their way out the mall.
