Monitoring

Monitoring is a phase in project management life cycle as the progress of a project needs to be monitored to make sure that a certain product or idea can be completed in a project within a duration set. Monitoring can be also the observation of others by people who want to see what are they doing in specific sometimes or worse everytime. These people are the types of people who are either being worried of their target or very nosy and want to butt in their matters regardless of public or private stuff, or just that they are stalkers. (which is the worst out of these three reasons since it is super creepy and spooky)

Monitoring in projects are normal because it is needed to know the progress in the project and keep track of the completion of the end-product. (regardless of a product or even a construction) Without keep tracking of the tasks to do in a project, the people tasked to do them might finish them late after the deadline without you or the project manager knowing. These late completion of tasks (regardless how small or big they are) will lead to delays in completing the end-product. If these delays on some tasks are not handled, they will lead to other tasks to be delayed, causing a domino effect and this might go on and on in the project. These delays will eventually lead to a big problem to the project which most likely cause the end-product to be released or completed later than it should be. This will lead to huge disappointment from customers who are awaiting for your end-product and also eventually huge losses from low sales and huge expenses you or project manager spent and can't cover with possibly minimal losses. So, monitoring in projects are vital and crucial in projects just like any other phases in project management.

Monitoring isn't easy. You need to constantly keep an eye on the project progress and sometimes when different tasks in different departments and sections are being executed concurrently, you gotta multi-task and monitor multiple people at once as they are executing the tasks given to them. They require tools that assist them in their monitoring process like project information (so they can know what is going on and why certain tasks are executed) etc. They also have to look out for potential or existing problems so that they can tackle them and prevent them from getting worsen and eventually impacting the project negatively. Not only that, they have to be attentive especially when everyone is mentioning about their progress and then the people who are monitoring, can know the progress of the project and its task through this way too. Nevertheless, monitoring is a vital part of a project and tough phase to execute too, and I respect those who monitored projects because of that.

Despite typing this, I mostly don't like people who monitors others with the exception of those who are worrying of others. (but not those who are worrying for nothing ._.) Who likes people that stalks and creep you out every time? Who likes people to look what you are doing regularly (regardless if you are drinking water, playing computer games or even taking a dump) and butts in your matters even if you don't like it or not?

No, right? It will be uncommon if you said yes to that set of two questions?

Stalkers are the worst kind of people who monitors others. They don't just look at them, they do way more than that. They find out what they are doing from far without asking them, most of the times the target aren't able to feel the stalking vibes. (It is hard.) Sometimes, they will follow their targets and walk behind them while concealing their presence from their targets. It is worse when these stalkers search for their address or follow them to their home just to know where their targets live. Certainly, stalker are super creepy in their own ways. And if you are one, please don't stalk others. Spend quality time on other stuffs like finding new interests and do your hobbies, (that doesn't include stalking) Even binge watching anime and dramas, or even playing computer games will be better.

Okay, time to direct to those nosy people. Yes, sometimes you wanna know what people are doing and you are so curious until that you keep asking them what are they doing. But please, you can actually try to control yourself for others' sake? Not everyone is open to others everytime and will be happy to tell what they are doing. Sometimes we people need to have our own time. Let me rephrase, our own private time when no one bothers us and meddle in our things. For those who are facing people like this and keep on asking what are you doing and wanna meddle in your own stuff, I feel ya because I have a super annoying classmate who just like to meddle in most of my classmates' matters including me which is very and very annoying. He likes to ask everyone what are they doing in anytime whenever possible and likes to see what they are doing no matter we are using our laptops or mobiles or even just chatting. When he looks at people doing stuff, he likes to see without making a sound and it creeps me and my other classmates. I have been scared by him a lot of times. (by feeling someone's breath - his one of course since no one does this s**t , or he will just suddenly ask a question very close you after being very silent) The second case scenario feels like an assassin that strikes you suddenly. Not only me, my friends and my other classmates (luckily he doesn't do this to the girls) always get scared by his way of approaching and constant meddling into our affairs. If you are someone that is like him, please stop it. (*inserts "Stop it. Get some help" GIF)

Anyways, monitoring can be good, useful and needed in a way, but also bad and annoying in a way too. Please monitor properly like do it for useful purposes but not for disturbing others. For parents, if you are worrying for kids, please monitor them properly and don't do it frequently. Children and teenagers might not like it especially teenagers as teenagers will start to desire more alone time.

As always, thank you for reading this. I hope you will have a great day and I am sorry for the late upload. (I got mentally tired on my first day of school. Welp.)
