Hannah and Jerome 2 - End of the Darkness (English Version)

I want Gotham

Hannah enters a restaurant, far back at a table she sees Ivy already waiting tensely for her. Ivy sees Hannah, she gets up and falls into her arms.

"I missed you sooooo much!"

Hannah feels pressured and tries to escape Ivy's slings. When Ivy lets her go, Hannah replies with a fake grin. She takes off her coat, throws it over the back of the chair and sits down.

"Well, then tell me and don't leave anything out.", says Ivy enthusiastically.

A waiter enters the table with a friendly grin and gives both red wine.

"Well, why do you think why I came back? It was so boring. I killed a guy but he didn't even really resist.", Hannah replies with a smile and takes a sip.

"I'm glad to be here again."

"And what do you want to do now? Back to Jerome?", asks Ivy Hannah ironically.

Hannah breaks out in a fury as she hears his name. She gets so angry that she bursts the wineglass which she holds in her hand. The people around the two are scared to death and the waiter storms to their table immediately.

"Do you want to trouble us here?", he asks in a friendly but slightly irritated Ivy.

"N-no.", stumbles Ivy.

"The glass comes with your bill.", says the waiter annoyed.

"And I want you both to leave the restaurant immediately."

Annoyed, Ivy smashes $ 50 on the table, grabs Hannah on her healthy hand and storms out of the restaurant with her. Hannah has not said a word the whole time and is still looking angry into the void.

"What was that supposed to be?", Ivy snorts to Hannah.

"Just never say his name again. Then something like that won't happen anymore.", Hannah answers calmly.

Both sit on the nearest park bench and stare into the distance.

"I have big plans.", Hannah tells Ivy.

"I want Gotham."

"And why? It's too much effort.", contradicts Ivy.

"Have you ever been on the top of something?"

"No.", says Ivy quiet.

"Then it's time. We'll start in the Narrows if this belongs to us we've taken a big step forward."

"And how are we supposed to come to the power of the Narrows alone?", she asks Hannah.

"It's easy, there are wrestling matches every week. If you win, you will come up quickly.", Hannah smiles.

"You should not underestimate me, Ivy."

"But Lee is currently in the lead in the Narrows."

"Doctor Lee Thompkins?", Hannah replies with a laugh.

"That she dares to go back to Gotham after what she did under the influence of the virus."

Ivy laughs back.

"Before I flew back, I cleared out my parents' accounts. Now let's get a nice apartment and make ourselves comfortable.", Hannah grins and pulls out a money roll.
