Slowly Leslie comes to herself again. She is lying on a bench in a gloomy room. A small window far right above fills the room with a little light. The room is very run down. Lee sits up slowly and looks ahead, in front of her is just a closed steel door. Groaning painfully she holds her head. Suddenly she hears a rustle, sounds like rustling rescues. She looks at her hands and realizes that she has both handcuffs. From the handcuffs each goes away a chain, which goes up to the wall and is fixed there. On the left wrist to the left wall, right wrist to the right wall. Lee opens her eyes wide and realizes that she is now really in trouble. Panic she jumps up and wants to run to the door, but after a few steps she can not get on. Her arms are pulled back painfully, Lee looks behind and realizes that the chains are too short and have slowed her down. Briefly she swings a leg forward and somehow tries to reach the door. Lee knows that it does not help her, but if she can only touch the door, she can make enough noise for someone to hear her. She's lucky, Lee can touch the door with the last tip of her foot. Relieved, she snorts briefly, takes another deep and hits as hard as she can against the door. At the same time she screams loudly for help. Lee is up to hear where Hannah is. She has locked her up in the basement and immediately perceives the noise. Hannah is in a huge mess, there are plans all around her and the former fighting ring is not even here anymore. Hannah is renovating it as she said. All around them, craftsmen are carrying in furniture, painting walls, and much more. In the background is Ivy and explains something to one of the craftsmen. Hannah beckons one of the men who opened the fire here a few days ago. One comes to her.

"I think she woke up.", Hannah says quietly to her worker.

He is tall, looks very dangerous and wears only black clothes. Both go quietly out of the noise, down to the basement. They go through a dark corridor past even more iron doors, to the very last in the back. He locks up. Slowly the door opens and Lee Hannah looks eagerly into her eyes.

"The GCPD will be here soon and hopefully you'll be spoiling in Arkham!", she yells at Hannah and jumps up.

"Well you're awake.", Hannah replies only kindly.

Lee realizes that her anger does not bring much to Hannah, she sits back down on the bench.

"I'm sure that I'm already missing. It will not take long for the GCPD to be here.", comments Lee.

"Who should seek you? Your husband was shot by James Gordon and Jim himself does not even know you're here."

Flabbergasted and with glassy eyes she looks at Hannah. Lee runs it cold down the back.

"Yes, Doctor Leslie Thompkins I know a lot about you, too.", Hannah smiles to Lee.

"Do you think I've been sitting around stupidly in Gotham the last few years? I had to find out a lot about you. The GCPD, who currently has the say in Gotham and ... yes."

"And Jerome.", she interrupts Hannah.

Hannah's grin disappears immediately and she sniffs an angry look at Lee.

"Let's see how long you survive in here until you die of thirst and starve.", Hannah replies meanly.

Without Lee being able to say any more, the man slams the door in front of Lee's nose and they both walk back upstairs while they hear her screams behind them.

Three days later.

The renovations have been completed. Hannah made a club out of the run-down shop. Everything shines in the red and black style. With bright eyes and a huge grin, Hannah is overjoyed about her nightclub.

"Adorable.", adds Ivy just as fascinated.

Hannah looks happily at Ivy and says to her:

"This is our future."

Hannah takes a key from her coat pocket and puts it in the hand of Ivy.

"Any idea how you'll call it?", she asks Hannah.

"Darkness.", comments Hannah.

Meanwhile, Lee is still trapped in the basement. Her stomach growls loudly, her hair is disheveled and she looks like she's about to collapse. Lee sits on the bench and looks into the void. From above she hears only loud music, and the laughter of Ivy and Hannah. Twice a day Hannah comes downstairs with a table and a chair, she sits down in front of Lee, but far enough away that she can not catch her. Hannah sits down on the chair and enjoys her food and drink in front of Lee. She tells her what did she miss and updates her. When Hannah finished eating, she gets up and leaves. She begins to make Lee sick, her hope to die more and more while watching her dying.

When Hannah comes down for dinner in the evening, she does something else this time. Hannah just comes to Lee with a glass of water and holds it in front of her face.

"There, take it.", Hannah tells her ice cold.

Questionable Lee looks at Hannah.

"I dont trust you. You certainly poisoned it. Why should you suddenly feel sorry for me?", Lee answers in a harsh and dry voice.

"Well then not.", Hannah replies.

But just when Hannah wanted to take the glass again, Lee grabbed it and she hastily poured it down. Right after drinking the glass she asks Hannah:

"Why don't you just kill me?"

"To be honest, I don't know. Maybe too unimaginative."

Hannah leaves the room and closes the door behind her.
