I woke up to Corban and Bree talking beside me.

"We really need to get her help." Bree said.

"How?" Corban asked.

"I...don't know."

I pretended to be in a deep slumber.

"This is so difficult Bree." He whispered.

"What is?"

"This. She had just gotten raped! I think she lost her virginity to him!" He yelled with a whispering tone.

"Corban don't you dare break up with her because of that."

"I wont. This is just too difficult. I can't deal with this. She's so emotionally unstable and,,, psychotic."

"Corban shut the fuck up right now. That's my best friend you are talking about."

I felt a single tear run down the side of my face and fall onto the sheets.

"I can't help it. I love her but Jesus Christ. This is too much. I can't handle it anymore, she shouldn't be dating." His voiced was monotone and empty.

"Don't break up with her. I will shut you out of my life forever if you do and I will never forgive you. Her intention was not to kill herself, but to numb the pain. If you weren't in her life, she would have intended to kill herself. You saved her Corban."

"I know, I know. This is just too much pressure. It's inconvenient and causing me pain. I don't need this."

I couldn't take it anymore. I lifted my head to face them.

"Well God if I'm just that worthless to you then why don't you just dump me already!?" I ran out of the room.

I went outside and sat on my front porch while crying into my hands. Corban came out and sat next to me.

"Zoe... I'm so-"

I cut him off, "Just shut up. Was your main intention just to hook up with me?" 

"No not at all. Yes sex is nice but I love you for you, not just your body."

"I'm nothing but an inconvenience to you so go fuck yourself."

"Stop being so rude." His eyebrows narrowed.

I stood up, "I'm being rude?! You were fucking talking behind my back! Just leave me alone! We are done!"

I cried while running down my street. Where was I going? Corban chased after me and yelled my name. 

"Zoe! I'm sorry!" He yelled.

I ran down to the river I sat at as he read the letters a while ago. I was out of breath and gave up on running so I sat down. He sat next to me.

"Please Zoe, I'm sorry. I forgave you after you kissed Bree so please forgive me now. Please I love you so much and I regret saying all of that. You mean the world to me. I can't live without you. Everything about you is amazing, your glowing and sparkling eyes, your glossy hair, your curvy and beautiful body... everything. Don't even get me started on your smile. You make em so happy. I was just upset, but we will get you through this, I promise."

I didn't say anything. I looked at him, into his deep and dark eyes, and leaned forward until my lips collided with his.

"Okay." I said against his lips.

Our lips continued to move in sync as he placed his had on my face. It was nice, we just sat there... kissing. It's like nothing else in the world mattered or existed.

Once we stopped, we continued to talk.

"So, what is your opinion on sex?" I asked, pretending it wasn't a sensitive subject to me.

"Ummm, well I can wait because you've been through enough lately."

"I don't think he penetrated... to be honest. I haven't really masturbated before... maybe once but I've never put my finger inside. It would hurt right now but it doesn't. I would be bleeding."

"I think you can get it tested by going to a girl doctor or something."

"I don't think it's necessary. Though I don't masturbate much, I do read a lot of smut and do research."

My face turned red, "Since we started talking..." I mumbled.

"What?" He looked over. 

"Since we... started talking." I said louder.

"Oh." He stayed silent for a few seconds then broke out into laughter. "Me too!"

"Oh My God." I laughed with him.

We continued to laugh and joke around with each other. When the sun started to set, we continued to kiss again. His lips felt so soft and amazing on mine. It got more and more intimate as time passed and soon enough, our tongues were in each other's mouths. His hand strayed from my back and slipped down to my round butt. 

I wasn't ready for anything more than this yet but I did know one thing...

I'd be ready for so much more soon.
