Marie Cousins P.O.V
After I got home, I got a glass of lemonade and sat on the couch. My parents were downstairs in the basement.

"Can you help me Marie?" A loud voice said.

I looked out the window, and there was a black eyed child.

My worst fear ever was just looking at me.

I ran to my kitchen, and grabbed a butcher knife, and ran to the window with it. It ran away.

I started to cry and scream, as I heard another knock at the door.

Turns out it was just Richie.

I opened the door.

"Holy shit what's wrong with you?" Richie asked.

I could feel my body shake in fear, and Richie's smile changed into a frown at the speed of light.

"Marie are you okay?" Richie said, pulling me by the hand out of my house.

"No. I saw my worst fear in my window."

"And what's that?"

"A black eyed child. We're all afraid of something right?"

"You got that right."

I pulled Richie into a tight hug, as I fought back tears,

I caught sight of Eddie walking towards my house,

"Hey Eds." Richie said.

Eddie waved, and signalled me with his finger to follow him. I jogged down the stairs, and he pulled me aside.

"Did Richie say anything weird to you?" Eddie asked.

"No." Is responded

"Why is he at your house?"

"I don't know. What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Do you think there is something going on between us?"

"No. I trust you."

I gave Eddie a kiss on the lips, and he lead me back over to Richie.

I wish I knew why he was acting so weird. Well I kind of do. Richie told me he liked me, maybe he told Eddie.

After a while, Eddie's mom called him inside. Which left Richie and I on our own. All of a sudden I felt really weird.

Richie and I walked down the street, and he tried to hold my hand.

I slapped it away, and now I started to get really scared. Was he going to try something?

We got to a house, which I'm assuming was his, and lead me up the steps, acting really weird still. I didn't know if I wanted to go in, but I didn't want to be rude. Richie didn't really seem like the type of guy that would try to do anything.

"Mom dad, this is my friend Marie." Richie said to his parents as we stepped in the door.

"Hi." I said shyly.

"Don't need to be shy." Mrs. Toizer said.

We walked down the stairs into his basement, and sat down on a two chairs.

"Marie are you okay? You're acting super strange." Richie asked.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I replied, looking around the room.

The room was really dark. And suddenly, two yellow eyes appeared.

"Hey Richie and Marie." A voice said.

I could see the features of a clown in the light behind him.
I screamed, and grabbed Richie's arm. We jumped out if the chairs, and Richie hit the clown with a baseball bat. He then turned the lights on, and the clown was gone.
