Chapter 3

The train ride took a long time. They were stopping in Crocus for the night. Natsu's head was in Lucy's lap, as she was mindlessly playing with his hair. Juvia was clinging on to Gray's arm, rambling on and on about how excited she was that they were going to be on the front line together. Erza was sitting alone, probably wishing for some strawberry cake, knowing her. Levy was reading a book, Gajeel looking over her shoulder reading along. Wendy and Romeo were chatting about the guild, the latest news, what they like to do in their free time. Mira was plotting some kind of thing for her ships.

The exceeds were in the back, Happy sleeping, and dreaming of fish, Carla was looking out of the window, relaxing, Lily was trying out his newest sword.

Mira squealed, startling everyone.

"Mira, what's wrong?" Erza asked.

"I just thought of something!" Mira squealed.

"What?" Lucy asked.

"Let's play a game!"

"What kind of game?" Levy asked.

"An awesome game!"

"Uh oh. It's Mira's favorite." Gray groaned.

"TRUTH OR DARE!"

"NO!" Everyone yelled.

Mira started sulking.

"Fine. We'll play truth or dare." Erza sighed.

"Okay! Yay!"

"Okay, Erza, truth or dare?" Mira asked, mischievously.

"Dare." Erza answered, confidently.

"Okay, Erza. I dare you to tell Jellal how you feel about him." Mira smirked.

Erza blushed.

"W-what?"

"You heard me."

"Fine, I will when the battle's over."

"Okay!"

"Now, Lucy. Truth or dare?"

"Truth." Lucy said.

"Okay, is it true that you have a crush on Natsu?"

"Yes! You guys know that!" Lucy blushed.

"I know. We just wanted to hear it again." Erza giggled.

Natsu pulled Lucy into a tight embrace, one arm over her shoulder.

They continued to play Truth or dare until the train stopped in Crocus.

They got off of the train, and walked to the hotel. Mira walked up to the front desk.

When she came back, she handed everyone a room key.

"Do not lose these keys. They belong to the hotel and you won't be able to get back into your rooms. Got it?" Mira told everyone.

"Yes ma'am!" Everyone said.

Levy and Gajeel had a room.

Natsu and Lucy had another.

Then there was Gray and Juvia, Mira and Laxus, Wendy and Romeo and Carla. Happy and Lily shared a room. Mira and Laxus shared a room. And a surprise visit from Jellal. He was going to help in the battle. So Erza and Jellal had a room.

Lucy and Natsu walked into their room. Lucy set out one outfit for the next day, because they'd only be here for a night.

Natsu took a shower first, then Lucy.

After eating in the dining hall, everyone said good night to each other and went to their rooms.

Lucy changed into her pajamas, while Natsu changed into his boxers.

They climbed into bed. Natsu pulled Lucy close to him.

She snuggled up to him and fell fast asleep.
