Chapter 8

The figure turned around.

"Long time no see, Natsu." It spoke.

Natsu stared, a stunned look on his face.

He heard Lucy's screams in the back of his mind. He could still see her pained expression from earlier.

He instantly became stronger.

He ran towards Zeref and got him in the face. Zeref pushes him off with a blast of his dark magic.

Natsu landed on his feet, sliding backwards a few inches.

Natsu ran forwards once more and continued to fight Zeref.

Wendy hovered over Lucy, using the last of her remaining strength on the blonde mage.

Soon after her magic power had run out, she collapsed beside the celestial mage.

Gray rushed over and picked up the two girls, carrying them back to the campsite where Porlyusica awaited them.

Gray laid the girls on two cots.

He left to continue fighting with the others. Fairy Tail will win. No matter what.

Porlyusica got Wendy up to speed in no time. Wendy was up and helping patients again.

A few more wizards had been rushed back to the campsite.

Levy, Jet, Droy, and Elfman.

Porlyusica and Wendy used their magic power to save them.

After a short nap, the four wizards were back to fighting.

Wendy glanced over at Lucy. Sadness overcame her. She felt her heart slowly breaking as she watched the color drain from Lucy's face. She rushed over and began performing a spell.

One to preserve and restore the body's natural color.

Three more patients were rushed in and Wendy left the blonde mage.
