Chapter 17

After thirteen long months of planning their wedding, Lucy and Natsu were getting married today. The excited couple couldn't wait. However, like Lisanna did on her wedding day, Lucy began having a panic attack in her dressing room. Her friends rushed over to her, Erza holding a glass of water, and Levy rambling about this new book.

The door of the dressing room opened to reveal, Lisanna. Lisanna walked in.

"Congrats Lucy. I know Natsu loves you."

"Thanks, Lis." Lucy smiled.

They talked until Makarov walked in and told them it was time for the wedding to start.

They walked out. Lucy's long, pale pink gown trailed behind her.

Levy, Erza, Mira, Lisanna, Juvia, and then Michelle, walked down the aisle in that order.

Michelle walked to the front, and went right behind where the bride would stand.

The music started, and Makarov grabbed Lucy's arm.

They walked down the aisle, until they got to the alter.

Makarov handed Lucy's hand to Natsu, telling him to take good care of her. Natsu nodded his head. He smiled at Lucy. She smiled back.

She stood where the bride stands. Natsu held her hands.

After their vows, the priest looked at them, excitement in his eyes. He'd always loved telling the groom that he may kiss the bride.

"Natsu Dragneel, do you take Lucy Heartfilia, through sickness and through health, until death do you part?"

"I do." He smiled.

"And Lucy Heartfilia, do you take Natsu Dragon through sickness and through health, until death do you part?"

"I do."

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Natsu wrapped his arms around Lucy's waist and pulled her closer. He planted his lips on hers.

They walked out of the chapel, to their car. It read, Just Married.

They climbed in.

Lucy waved to her friends and smiled.

"Thank you for helping me through those long years!"

"No problem Lucy! Anything for a friend." Erza smiled.

The car rode off into the sunset.

The best time of their lives.
