Batman: So you're saying that if we can somehow hack into the very fabric of space, we could open that portal up.
Cyborg: Yeah, exactly. But there's almost no way of doing that.
Batman: Hmmm...
Batman and Cyborg keep working until the portal makes an alarming sound.
Cyborg: Crap, that does not sound good.
Batman: We need to shut it down.
Cyborg: The only way of shutting it down is to destroy it, and we don't know what effects it could have.
Batman: Then we have to get out of here before somethi-
The portal explodes, and Batman and Cyborg black out. When they wake up, they find the Batcave to be fine, and the portal in good condition.
Cyborg: What the heck? Nothing happened.
Batman: I clearly saw an explosion before we black out. The portal must've warped reality.
Cyborg: But how? There's no way it could've done that without the help of an external force.
Batman: That means there might be someone on the other side of this portal who's trying to mess with it.
Cyborg: Well if that's true, then we need to investigate.
Batman: I can get Clark and Barry.
Cyborg: Okay, you do that while I try to finish opening this portal. I think I'm close.
Batman sends out a signal to Clark Kent and Barry Allen, aka, Superman and the Flash.
Batman: You guys available?
Flash: I am, I mean if you call eating pizza and watching Netflix available.
Superman: So am I, Bruce. What do you need?
Batman: Cyborg and I have been working on opening this portal, and I want you guys to help me investigate what's on the other side.
Flash: I'm in!
Superman: So am I.
Batman: Good, I'll see you in a few minutes.
Batman hangs up and turn back to Cyborg.
Batman: Is it ready?
Cyborg: Just about.
Then they see the Flash standing in front of them.
Flash: Hey Batman. Hey Cyborg.
Batman: Thanks for coming, Barry.
Flash: No problem.
Superman flies in.
Superman: So what exactly is going on here?
Cyborg: Just in time. I finished opening the portal, and it should be ready for you guys to enter.
Superman: That's an interesting portal. It just randomly appeared?
Cyborg: Yep, just a day ago.
Superman: Well I guess we shouldn't waste time.
Cyborg: Hop on in when you're ready.
Flash: Way ahead of you!
Flash speeds into the portal.
Superman: I guess that's our queue!
Superman and Batman go into the portal, then Batman pokes his head back out.
Batman: Cyborg, tell us if anything weird happens.
Cyborg: Got it.
Batman ducks back into the portal. The three heroes end up in a laboratory with lots of technology and machines.
Flash: So... Where exactly are we?
Batman: I have no idea. I've never been here before.
Superman: Me neither. But this lab is interesting.
Batman: It is. It has things similar to my lab, except for this...
Batman points at a small tube with liquid in it.
Superman: How do you know it's not just colored water or something?
Batman: Because there wouldn't be colored water in a high tech lab like this.
Superman: True, but what is it?
Batman: I don't know, could be anything.
Flash: You going to pocket it?
Batman: No, I'm not going to steal. I have a hunch that whoever's owns this lab is a resoected scientist.
Superman: And what tells you that.
Batman: All of those awards
Batman points to a big shelf with tons of trophies and medals.
Flash: Holy crap! He must be a genius!
Batman: Yes, and it look like his name is Reed Richards.
