Batman: Well that got us nowhere.

Flash: It got us into a big city.

Batman: Yes, but we have no idea what's in store in this city. It could be petty thieves. It could be high tech vigilantes. It could be our greatest enemy.

Flash: I doubt this place is going to have our greatest enemy, Batman.

Superman: You never know Barry, this universe could be 50 times more powerful than us.

Flash: No way. As long as we have you, we are the strongest unive-

???: Did you guys do this? Because if so, Mr. Fantastic will be really mad.

Batman: Who are you, and why do people keep coming up here?

???: Well I'm Spider-Man, and people keep coming up here because the window of one of the most famous buildings in New York is broken. And that raises suspicions, especially with us superheroes.

Batman: Did you say that this place is New York?

Spider-Man: Of course! This is Manhattan! The home of the Baxter Building, which by the way, you are currently in.

Batman: Yeah, we figured that out from your Deadpool friend.

Spider-Man: Deadpool? He was here? He must be up to no good. Or maybe he was doing something good. You never know with ol' Wade Wilson.

Batman: Wade Wilson? We have someone in our universe named Slade Wilson. And come to think of it, they're kind of similar.

Spider-Man: Is he crazy?

Batman: No, not crazy.

Spider-Man: Healing factor?

Batman: Minor one, but yes.

Spider-Man: Guns and swords?

Batman: Yep.

Spider-Man: Sounds like a counterpart!

Batman: Interesting. I'll have to look into that. But do you know someone named Reed Richards?

Spider-Man: Yeah! That's Mr. Fantastic! He owns this building and he's part of the Fantastic 4!

Batman: So that's why we've been seeing the number 4 everywhere. And I gather that he's smart.

Spider-Man: Very smart.

Batman: Do you know where we could find him?

Spider-Man: Uh, that's a no. I haven't seem him in about a week.

Batman: Well that's not going to make this any easier.

Spider-Man: What do you need him for? And who are who guys?

Batman: I'm Batman, that's Superman, and that's Flash. We came through a portal, and we saw that this Reed Richards guy had an interesting lab.

Spider-Man: You came through a portal?

Batman: Yes, we were experimenting on it, and decided to go and investigate.

Spider-Man: Huh, and it lead you here?

Batman: Yes, we suspect that Mr. Richards was also studying the portal.

Spider-Man: Wow, um, that's cool. I didn't know he was working on a portal. Nobody did.

Batman: Well, we'd like to find him, and discuss this portal issue.

Spider-Man: Well, like I said, I don't know where he his, but I sure can help you find him!

Batman: Good to know. So where do we start?

Spider-Man: Well he's obviously not here, so the best place to start is to track down his teammates.

Spider-Man leaps through the window and to the ground. Batman dives after him, and Superman flies down.

Flash: Um, guys? I kind of have a bullet wound. I mean, my regeneration helps, but I still can't walk very well.

Superman flies back up, picks up Flash, and goes back down.

Flash: Thanks.

Superman: No problem.

Batman: Okay, so where would these teammates be?

Spider-Man: Well Johnny would probably be hanging out at his house.

Batman: Johnny?

Spider-Man: Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch.

Flash: Oh, a fire dude.

Spider-Man: Yep, a pretty good one too.

Superman: Hm... If we every clear this portal thing up, I'd like to spar with him someday.

Spider-Man: Good luck.

Batman: So you said he would be in his home?

Spider-Man: Most likely. If he's not at the Baxter Building, then he's usually at his house with his sister, Sue.

Batman: Does she have powers?

Spider-Man: Yep, invisibility. Her names the Invisible Woman.

Batman: Might I ask, how did they get their powers?

Spider-Man: Well I don't know the whole thing, but Reed, Jhonny, Sue, and the last member Ben Grimm, the Thing, went on a mission to the moon. They got trapped in this cosmic radiation stuff and it transformed them.

Batman: Interesting, and I assume they heroes?

Spider-Man: Yeah, some of the best!

Batman: Well thanks for the info, and lets get going to the Storms' house.
