Omniscient POV:
"Airi!" The sound of her name being called startles her from her peaceful sleep. She didn't feel like answering nor moving from her comfortable spot on her bed. She isn't much of a morning person and she is sure that whoever is calling her knew that. The people in her house just insisted on getting on her last nerves.
She lets a small smile escape when the noise stops and she snuggles into her pillow more. Effortlessly drifting back to slumber. Just as she almost enters dream land something very cold and wet hits her face. She wakes up with a loud scream just to see that her entire body and bed have been drenched in cold water.
"What the?" She gasps as she sits up quickly in her bed. Finally, she looks over just to see the smirking face of her big headed brother staring back at her. Anger boils inside of her when she sees the camera being held up to her face. She doesn't like being pranked in her sleep. She hates it and Damian knows that. She could tolerate all of his childish pranks but the one thing she asked was to be left alone while sleeping. But of course Damian being his stupid self wouldn't listen.
"Damian, omg why would you do this!?" She screeches at him only for him to chuckle in return. He doesn't care about her being mad and he knows that she doesn't like being messed with while sleeping so that's exactly why he did it. She doesn't respect his wishes so why should he respect hers? They're in a Prank War and to him nothing is off limits. She's lucky he didn't do anything more drastic like he was thinking about doing.
"Girl relax, it's just water. You needed to bathe anyways." He mocks as he covers his nose with his free hand. She don't really stink but he knows that will piss her off even more. Which is good for the viewers. They always like a good reaction.
"Don't even do that! And get that camera outta my face!" She tries pushing the camera only for Damian to take a step back quickly before she could which in doing so causes her to lose her balance and fall right out of the bed and land right onto floor. It sounds as a light thud which sends Damian into a round of boisterous laughter.
"That's what you get!! Y'all see what happened! Tell Airi to stop playing with me! Prank wars baby! Team #DTom! Y'all go stan that in the comments!" He shouts into the camera while Airi stays perched upon the floor. He knows that any minute she is about to explode on his ass so he hurries with his outro.
After finishing he anticipates Airi getting up off the floor and going upside his head but strangely she doesn't. In fact the only thing she says is to get out of her room. He furrows his brows in confusion before quietly exiting. He had taken note on her strange behavior ever since she had gotten back home from Houston but he never brought it up. She'd been distant and quiet lately but he figured she was just going through some things with Daniel's father. That dude always seemed to bring out the worst in her. He didn't want to ask her or anything because he didn't want to seem like he was trying to be all in her business but he knew that if something was really wrong she'd tell him. They never really kept secrets from each other not even as kids. They knew that if ever the other needed a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen that they'd be there. Maybe she's just tired from all the work she's been doing with YouTube. He didn't know, but if the need to ask grew stronger he would. Right now, he's just gonna give her space and when she's ready she'll talk to him.
After Damian leaves her room Airi silently gets up off the floor and begins to strip from her now drenched clothes. She's definitely going to get him back she just didn't feel much like pranking right now. She has stuff on her mind at the moment which she'd rather not be thinking about but she couldn't help it. She was successful when she got back to Detroit from Houston but she received some news that put her mind back on the subject.
A week ago after she had gotten back from Houston her mom called a "Family Meeting" in which she proceeded to tell the family that they would be moving to Houston. Permanently. She didn't know what to say in the moment but she could feel every emotion ever flowing through her body. She was happy, anxious, mad, nervous, and sad. All at the same time. All for different reasons. She was happy because it would be a new experience for her and she also liked the weather there. She was sad because she was really gonna miss her home in Detroit. It's where she grew up, where she attended school, where her friends are and where she gave birth to her beautiful son Daniel. She didn't know if she was ready to leave those memories behind. She was also mad that her mom would make such a huge decision without even at least consulting with her first. This is definitely gonna be a big move for them and she would have liked if her mom would have included her in the decision.
And lastly she was definitely nervous and anxious. Only one person and she couldn't fathom how, could bring such emotions out of her. She had not thought about this certain person when she had arrived back to her home because she distracted herself with YouTube. She figured Out of Sight, Out of Mind was her best bet and it worked until the mere mention of Houston and the squad brought back the poisonous thoughts that she would really rather not discuss. She didn't know how she could even be around him when she had impure thoughts about him. That's just wrong. And plus they were supposedly "sister and brother". That still left a bad taste in her mouth. She didn't even want to address him as such anymore because it didn't feel right. When she felt the energy shift between the two of them she knew that everything on down the line would prove difficult for her to handle.
After changing into comfortable and dry clothing she strips her bed sheets and carries them to the laundry room to be washed. On her way back to her room she is stopped by her mother who tells her to start packing because their flight leaves tomorrow at 10. She sighs sadly before dragging her body to the room and she solemnly begins to pack her and Dan Dan's things. She doesn't want to but she knows that in the end the move to Houston will be opportunistic for not only her but for Daniel. And she is determined to always make sure Dan has a secure future. He is her only priority.
