After the meeting everyone went back to their respective houses to pack a bag for the little sleep over Jazz, Ar'mon and Trey were having. Before leaving Trey told Airi he would be back to pick her up, it was 9 going on 10 when she got the text that said he was outside. Knowing she couldn't talk her way out of this one, she didn't even try. Trey had made it very clear that he wasn't leaving this house without her. So, here she is packing an overnight bag.

"Aren't you supposed to be going over to Trey's?" She looks up to see her mom standing in the doorway with a coffee mug in her hand. She notices that it's the one she had gifted her for Mother's Day. It's brown with gold embroidery on the handle and World's Greatest Mom on the front in gold letters. When she saw it in the store she knew that her mom would love it. Her instincts were right because she never drinks coffee or tea without it.

"What's in the mug?" Airi asks suspiciously. It's too late to be drinking coffee and Janay knows that.

Janay smiles innocently. "Coffee."

"You know it's almost 10pm right."

Janay waves her off dismissively. "I know I know. I'm grown girl, I do what I want."

Airi throws her hands up in surrender not pushing further on the issue. She's grown, she do what she wants.

"Well, I'm just grabbing my things and saying night to Dan. I just put him to sleep so he should be out for the night but if he wakes up his cup is in the fridge." She leans down and kisses her son's forehead softly before whispering I love you in his ear.

"I know girl. I have done this before you know."

Airi chuckles quietly before nodding her head and grabbing her overnight bag off the edge of the bed, careful not to wake Dan. Once her bag is in her hand she and her mom exits her room and say their good nights to each other. Janay going in the opposite direction to her office while Airi makes her way to the front door. She uses her key to lock the top and bottom lock before making her way down the driveway and to the gray truck parked out in front.

"Hey." She says as soon as she opens the passenger door.

"Wassup sis?" Trey asks as he pulls out of the driveway.

Not this sleepover, that's for sure. She wants to say but keeps it to herself. She can't believe she had somehow let Trey talk her into going to a "sleepover" with her crush. It's just not logical. She's still processing the whole conversation that transpired earlier between the two. She really hadn't expected him to pull her off to the side, so you can imagine how absolutely caught off guard she was when he did. Although she always knew the moment would arise, she still hoped that it would happen later. She didn't know exactly how she would feel or what she would even say for that matter, even though she'd practice countless amounts of times in her head. When the actual moment was unfolding in front of her it was a different thing. The words that she wanted to say or that she thought she would say wouldn't come out because when he's around she can't think straight. Every thought is a jumbled mess in her head and her mouth wouldn't even form the words so that she could speak. She hates that but she somehow couldn't control it.

"We here nigga, you can get out now." She had been so lost in thought that she hadn't even noticed that they were parked outside of his house. He had already gotten out and was currently making his way up the driveway.

She quickly shakes her head to rid herself of her thoughts and grabs her bag before getting out of the truck and catching up to him. Once they're at the door he opens it and they both walk inside.

"Welcome to the TAP house." Trey announces in a loud voice as soon as they're inside, as if she hadn't been there already. She furrows her eyebrows at the name because she's slightly confused.
