"You finally up?" Airi hears just as she sees Trey walking into the room eating a big bowl of cereal. She shakes her head and giggles to herself at how ridiculous he looks with that big ass bowl. She also takes notice of his attire and slightly wonders why he's all dressed up.
"Going somewhere?" She inquires with one eyebrow raised. He's too dressed up to be staying indoors, she knows that for sure. He didn't tell her that they'd be going anywhere in the morning and she hadn't brought any change of clothes because she hadn't plan on staying the night. That just happened. She was so tired last night that she barely remembered falling asleep. She knows that her and Trey were on the floor watching tv, talking and laughing about random shit. She slightly remembers nodding off a couple of times but she doesn't remember how she ended up in Trey's bed.
"Yeah, we're going furniture shopping today." He mumbles with a mouth full of fruit loops. Airi rolls her eyes and chunks a pillow at his head.
"Aye, what was that for?!" Trey yells in exasperation.
"For talking with your mouth full."
"Okay mom." He says making sure to put emphasis on the mom part which makes her laugh.
"And furniture shopping? You didn't tell me we would be going somewhere this morning. I don't have a change of clothes."
"Well, I wasn't talking about we as in you and I. Actually I was referring to myself, Jazz and Ar'mon but since you've already invited yourself, you might as well tag along. We can stop you by your house so you can change and all that."
But Airi hadn't heard a word he'd uttered after the mention of his name. She immediately felt the familiar flutter in her stomach and the instant stutter in her heart. She close her eyes in hopes of regaining her composure because she is sure that she looks completely out of it right now.
She did slight breathing exercises. In. Out. In. Out. She recites to herself before finally recollecting her thoughts in order to speak.
"You alright? Ya face look like you constipated."
She didn't answer instead she just shook her head. But then she thought to herself. This could be her escape. Maybe if she acts like she's sick then she can get out of the current invitation that she somehow talked herself into. She quickly nodded her head yes before letting out a disgruntled grunt.
"I think that Alfredo from last night is getting to me." She expresses this by holding her stomach and scrunching her eyebrows together as if she was in serious pain.

"Hold up. What you tryna say exactly?" Trey narrows his eyes at the implication that Airi is making.
"Maybe the shrimp were bad. Or maybe it was too cheesy! You know I can't eat cheese like that, it messes with my stomach." She explains because she already knows where his mind is going.
"Oh shit, I forgot. I did put a lot of cheese in it. Damn Airi, I'm sorry."
"It's okay." She immediately feels bad for lien to him but she's just not ready to see him. She couldn't even bring herself to say his name because she knows the affect it'll have on her.
"You want me to take you home?" She nods her head quickly and throws in a grunt at the end for effect.
"Okay, I'll go get my keys. You think you can make it out to the car by yourself?" She nods and before she knows it Trey is out of the room. Once he's gone she quickly gathers her things and then heads out of the room also. Before doing so, she checks to see if the coast is clear. After looking both ways she quickly walks to the balcony that overlooks the living area and kitchen.
She knows that Trey's room is the only one upstairs besides the guest room so that must mean that Jazz and his room are downstairs. She slowly peeks her head over the balcony and when she doesn't see anybody she quietly creeps down the stairs making sure to not make a sound.
She sighs in relief when she finally makes it to the front door, her hand hovering just above the door knob.
"Hey." She hears just as she's about to turn the knob.
