Wassup Airi." Ar'mon smiles as he greets the small girl standing directly in front of him. She doesn't look all that different, still as pretty as he remembers. And just as short too. He laughs a little at that.
"Um-Uh h-hey. Hey guys." She manages to somehow get out through her sudden stupor.
"Dang girl, why you stuttering? You nervous or somethin'?" Ar'mon jokes with a goofy grin on his face. Airi forces a laugh out because he just doesn't know how true those words are. She's beyond nervous and she fears that if somebody doesn't do something real soon, she's going to pass out. She gets this overwhelming feeling and wishes to god for something, anything to happen so that she doesn't have to be in this awful situation anymore.
She could feel beads of sweat starting to form on her forehead as the temperature seems to rise a bit more. Her eyes are focused on any and everything but him. She could feel his eyes, as well as the others on her but she refuses to look at anyone.
"So, are you gonna invite us in? Or are we just gone stand out here and stare at each other?" Jazz obviously annoyed asks.
Airi mentally face-palms herself when she realizes that they're still standing on her front porch and it's almost 100 degrees outside.
"Um, y-yeah come in. S-sorry." Ar'mon looks at her with an unreadable expression before he and Jazz walk pass her and into the cool air of the house.
"She acting weird as hell." She could hear Jazz express to Ar'mon who in return doesn't say anything back. He noticed too, but he figured he'll just have a talk with her later. He really wants to catch up with her and understand why she hadn't answered his text while she was away.
Trey hung back with Airi who still stood at the door just looking at nothing in particular. His demeanor matched his feelings right about now. He's confused on why his best friend is acting like she's seen a ghost from her past.
"Aye Air, you good?" She shakes her head in order to rid herself of the many thoughts going on in her head at the moment.
"Um yeah, I'm fine. Let's go inside." She cracks a nervous smile in hopes of him dropping the subject.
Trey being himself, is not convinced though. Something definitely seems off about her behavior. But he decides that if it's something he should know, she will tell him.
"Okay, lets go inside then. What ya mama cooked?" Airi lets out a sigh of relief, thankful that he didn't push farther on the subject.
"You know how that lady is, she got all the fixings." They both share a laugh before making their way into the dining area where the rest of the squad were.
"Okay. Listen up everybody, listen up!" Janay yells as she claps her hands to gain everyone's attention. They were all caught up in their own conversations, but once Janay spoke they all listened.
"Now I know you're all wondering why y'all here." Everyone give slight answers to the somewhat rhetorical question.
"You missed us so much." The always smug Ar'mon guesses which makes Janay roll her eyes in annoyance but nobody misses the small smile that breaks through as well.
"Whatever boy. Now listen. I called this meeting to let you guys know that we've officially moved to Texas!!" Cheers are heard around the room as the guys make outrageously loud noises and the girls laugh at their non-sense.
"And, and I have some big plans in store for you guys! First things first, a group photo shoot!" Janay announces bringing back everyone's focus.
"Aight Janay, turn up then." Jazz says in excitement. Everybody laughs before they each give Janay a hug and then they all come together for a big group hug.
