"Airionna did you hear me?!" She immediately snaps out of the trance she had somehow fallen into. She could hear her mom telling her to do something but it all sounded so faint. Like it was a voice in the back of her head, not one that's right beside her.

"Uh, y-yeah?" It comes out more like a question rather than the intended statement.

"What's bothering you? You've been off ever since this morning." Janay noticing the odd behavior of her daughter asks.

Truth is Airi had been jumpy all morning due to the guest that would be arriving in less than an hour. She's a whole ball of nerves just waiting for a disaster to happen. She didn't know how she would approach him or if she would for that matter. Just because they're going to be in the same room doesn't necessarily means she has to speak to him.

A Hey would suffice for her. She isn't in the right state of mind to have a conversation with him. At least not now. She needed time to understand her feelings. Why does she feel this way? How did these feelings even manifest? She isn't sure what happened in that Dirty Would You Rather but ever since that day she finds herself regretting even doing the video at all. Maybe this whole situation could've been avoided. Maybe she wouldn't have these overbearing feelings for him.

If she's being truly honest she's scared to see him because she isn't sure if her feelings would somehow intensify. You couldn't blame her for thinking this way because it's ridiculous how she feels about him when she hasn't even spoken to nor seen him. So she could only imagine how worse things would become when she finally does see him. The possibility of her feelings getting stronger is greater than the possibility of them fading away. If she couldn't get over him with distance then how the hell could she get over him while in the same proximity.

"I'm fine, I just have a slight headache." She whispers once she snaps back into reality. No lie there. Just thinking about the situation made her dizzy and it definitely unsettled her stomach.

"You sure that's all?" She doesn't speak just nods her head in response.

"I got some Tylenol in my office, go take some." She doesn't protest but instead goes to her mom's office where she readily grabs the pill and pop two into her mouth. She figures it'll help with her nerves as of right now.

She looks down at her phone and sees that it's 5:40 and the squad would be showing up any minute. She's on edge because she really doesn't know what to expect, not from him but from herself. She's scared that she might slip up and confess her feelings for him just because she's bad at hiding her emotions, especially if she has to be in the same room with the person in question.

She anxiously sits on her bed and watch as the time rolls by until she hears the blaring sound of the door bell ringing. The sound is deafening to her only because she knows what awaits behind it. The person repeats the action but she still sits frozen on her bed not making any move to get up.

"Airi get the door!" She hears which makes her jump slightly.

She slowly gets up from her bed and she notices that her body feels heavier than usual. She makes her way over to the front door with each step feeling heavier than the last. By the time she makes it she's actually exhausted. Physically and Mentally. Her brain going a mile a minute thinking of every possible outcome that could ensue from this. She isn't sure if she's gonna be able to open the door because of how weak she feels. A long sigh escapes her lips as she prepares herself for whatever or whoever is behind it.

"Hey BooBoo!" Queen yells out in excitement as she pulls her into a big hug.

"Dang Queen, you gone break her neck." Chris jokes while watching his wife hug her best friend. She rolls her eyes before telling him to shut up. They argue playfully while Airi watches on in amusement.

"Hey Queeny!" She chuckles and returns the hug with just as much enthusiasm. She really missed her and she's glad to see her again. After they finish their hug she briefly hugs Chris before inviting them into her home.

Just as she's about to close the door Trey's truck pulls into the driveway and her heart stops beating. She stands frozen as she watches his door open and he gets out. Due to the dark tinted windows she couldn't see if he had any passengers with him.

"Hey Airbear." She hears just as he envelopes her into a hug. She could hear him talking to her but she could not make out what he's saying because something else catches her attention.

Her heart completely drops to her stomach as she watches the passenger side door open and the person she hasn't seen nor spoken to in almost 4 months steps out. She can't really see his face because of how far Trey parked but from what she could see she couldn't lie and say she didn't like it.
She could only make out his build and from the looks of it, he's gotten slightly taller. She watches as him and Jazz play around while slowly making there way up the driveway.

Her breath hitches when she's able to get a good look at him. He's even more handsome than what she remembers. Something is different about him. He has a more mature look to him now, with his facial hair and all.

The two of them haven't noticed her standing there yet because of the jokes they were both cracking on one another.

"Boy I'm bout to get on ya Captain Crunch head ass." She could hear Jazz say and she couldn't help the smile that forms on her face when she hears his deep laughter. Something about it seemed so warm to her, made her feel happy and she could not understand why.

"Airi, snap out of it." She shakes her head as her eyes focus on a confused Trey. His eyebrows are scrunched and his lips are twisted in an odd smirk as he snaps his fingers in front of her face to break her out of her sudden trance.

"Wh-at." She stutters out but her words get stuck in her throat when he stops in front of her.

"Wassup Airi." As soon as her name leaves his mouth in that sultry smooth voice of his she melts on the inside. All of her fears seeming to become true at this moment.
