Chapter 1: Welcome to Pandora Kiddo

Odin's Pov

I'm there sitting on my desk in last period blocking out all outside noise. I'm deep in my own mind. I'm Odin Langdon and I'm 15. I have a younger sister named Alice. All these facts repeat in my head. I find there is no use to them. I'm smart, resourceful, and a survivalist. More useless facts that echo in my mind. To my friends, I'm a leader. To others, I'm just a person who just exists, not doing anything. "Hey! Earth to Odin!" I hear a girl yell. I snap back to reality to see who it was. An orange haired girl with green eyes smiles at me. It was my childhood friend, Eliza. "Sorry, I was kind of in-" I started to say, but I was cut off. "You're always lost in thought, ever since first grade." She laughs a little. The bell rings and we exit campus. We head to my house. I unlock the door and I let her in. We head to the kitchen. There was a paper tapped to the fridge. I read it. "Your father and I are with Alice at ballet. We'll be home late.". I sigh. I look in the fridge for anything to snack on. I took a slice of pizza from last night. Eliza looks and finds a mini pie. I give her the go ahead and she takes it. "Dude, take a sip of beer. No balls." She dares. She hands me a can of beer from the fridge. I look at it. I had to or I would have to get kicked down there. I open the can. I stare at it. I quickly take a sip and spat it back out instantly. "Ugh, that's horrid! How could dad drink that?" I screamed. Eliza laughs. I pour the rest in the sink and throw it out. We sit in the living room. We turn on the t.v and watch the news. "More strange disappearances have occurred. No evidence or any sign of the victims have been found." the news man said. That was a thing that has been happening for the past week. They were mostly people my age or older. I turn off the t.v and we head to my room. I open the door and turn on the light. We sit on my bed. "So, you up for some Borderlands 2?" I ask. She eagerly nods. I turn on the Xbox 360 and I pop in the disc. The game starts up. As it got the the Gearbox logo, a blinding white light fills the room. I feel force pushing me in. "Oh f***k!" I scream as I lose my grip. I fly in and I fall on a metal floor. I hear a man's voice. "How the hell did he get here?" One said. "I don't know, but take him out before he get's up." another man's voice said. I hear them draw their guns. Out of nowhere, I flip to my feet, kicking a pistol out of a man's hand. I grab it and shot the man. I struggle with the other man for a while. I can't believe I killed two men! In fairness they were attacking me. I look at their outfits. Yellow armor. There was a logo with an H. I know I've seen that logo, I just can't remember where. I look around and I enter a door. There was something glowing. It glowed purple and floating in the middle of the room. I grab it. I take a look and I here heavy footsteps. I hid by the door in a shadow. "Sir, the intruder is still in this building." a voice said. "Well find the brat and bring them to me!" Another said. I was cornered. I had two pistols, no money, and some random object I found floating. I heard no noise and decided it was safe. "Hey! Turn around and drop the gun bandit!" I hear someone say. I put my hands up, with the object in one hand and my pistol in the other. I turn around. "He has the key sir. Drop the gun and give me the key." He ordered me. I drop my pistol and tossed him what he said is a key. He dropped his gun to catch the key. I took this chance to attack. I ran towards him. I slid under his legs while picking up his gun. I aim it at the back of his head. "Nice chatting with ya, but I have to go." I said as I pull the trigger. His body flew forward, and the key dropped. I pick it up and I noticed I had a bag with me, so I put it in the bag. I sprinted out of the room. I go through corridors and hallways. I thought I would get out, but I was blocked by a wall of people, robots, and... a slow sarcastic clapping from Handsome Jack? This was Hyperion property! I turn the other way. Freeloader bots block my way. "Well well well. This is the brat that broke into my property. Tell me kid, how'd you do it? Because there is no way an 18 year old boy did this alone." He said. He sounded pissed. I was confused. I'm not 18, I'm 15. I look at a glass window and I see my reflection. I looked older! I look for a way to get out, and my only option was through the window. "Look, this has to be a mistake, let me go." I tried to plea. "Oh no no no. You are not going anywhere until you tell me how you manage to break into MY building without being seen." He yells. I took my only option and spent my last round on the glass. I jump out into the snow and I ran. Jack was and his army was behind me. I stopped at a cliff. "You know, I kind of feel bad for what I'm about to do, so I'll give you a choice. You can either surrender and come with me or be shot to death and fall off this cliff." He did not care at this point. I thought about it. I remember playing this game and knowing Jack, he would kill me either way. I simply said "Neither, I'll die either way. Wont I?". Jack raised his arm."Well then. Welcome to Pandora Kiddo." Is all he said. A scientist ran next to him as Jack ordered a man "Fire!". A gun was fired. The bullet collided with my chest. I stumble back. As I fall I can hear the scientist say "What did you do? He had the vault key!". Handsome Jack laughed nervously. "You're kidding... right?" He hesitantly asked. The scientist said no and Jack ordered his men to look for me. "And if you see that little sh*t alive, fill him with holes!" he orders. I land on the soft snow that cushioned my fall. I limped to a hiding place. I was heavily bleeding and I could faintly see a vending machine. It was Dr.Zed's medical machine! I didn't have any money however. I was not going to die like this! I tried to break the lock. Luckily I managed to do so. I got a Health Now and my wound eventually healed. I sit against a rock. I sigh. I start to wander what happened to Eliza. There is no use in worrying about that now. I look around. I can't believe I'm in the Borderlands 2 universe. Welcome to Pandora Odin.
