Chapter 8: Training With The Sirens

Maya's Pov

It was early in the morning. I meet up with Lilith. We head to Odin's house. We enter and Odin was still sleeping. We push him to the point he falls on the ground. "Ouch! Son of a taint!" He yells. He stands up. He rubs his head and glares at us. "Time for training Private!" Lilith said. "But first, we should stop by Tiny Tina. She has something for you." I added. He nods and follows us. We go to a house that me and the other girls share. Gage was upgrading her Death Trap, and Tiny Tina was sleeping on her gift to Odin. She worked hard all night to complete it. Lilith nudges Tina and she wakes up. "Oh haiii. I wanna give you somethin' especial." She says handing Odin his outfit. She gets something else that looked like a hood. "Thank you Tina. Where's the bathroom, I want to put it on." He says. I point to the bathroom and he goes in. He comes out. The outfit was interesting. It reminded me of a black color version of Handsome Jack's outfit. The left arm however was removed from the coat to reveal his siren marks. "Thank you, it's amazing. But I have to ask, is the pocket watch necessary?" He said. "Yes! It's a special one made by yours truly." She replied. He gave Tina a hug and we go outside to start training. We go in a circle. Tina and Gaige watch. "Every siren have a special ability unique to them. As we seen yesterday, you have an ice ability." Lilith explains. Odin looked serious, and was listening in all the way. "Let's see your hand to hand combat style with Maya." She says. We stand in front of each other a few feet away. "And fight!" She says. We charge each other. I attempt to use my ability. Odin flips over me and freezes my feet in place. He attempts to punch me, but I held his fist. Something weird happened when his fist made contact with mine. A purple energy was transferring to him from me. He lets go and looked at his hand. What was that? "Odin look out!" I scream. A rock was flying towards him. His reflex was odd. It was a phaselock! He had my siren ability. "Impossible. He has your ability? Odin, do what you did to her to me. Now, I want to see something." Lilith orders. He nods and charges at her. He gets close and Lilith grabs his hand. The same thing happened again. She tells Odin to try and phasewalk. He focuses his energy and cloaks himself. He becomes visible again. "You can gain abilities from other sirens!" She sounded excited. We decided to tell everyone the news. They all stand there with shocked faces. "What does this mean?" Axton asks. I shook my head. Night time comes around and Odin goes to bed. I go back to the house to see the girls huddled up. "What are you guys doing?" I ask. They told me they wanted to find out who his dad was and how this is happening to Odin. We'll find out, but for now, we need to train him in every way possible.
