Chapter 15: The First Step

Odin's Pov

So, this operation is going to take time. We need to capture a soldier and get information on this vault. At the same time, I want to find a way back to earth. I go on a balcony and I look out at the rest of Sanctuary. I notice a faint light. I looked and it was my arm faintly glowing. I closed my eyes. I could see my sister. She looked depressed. God damn it! I just want to reach out and hug her. I open my eyes and I order Gaige, Tiny Tina, and Axton to look into bringing me back to earth. Zer0, Lilith, Maya, and Mordicai were in charge of getting a Dahl Soldier. I smile as they disperse. I anxiously wait for updates on both operations. As I contemplate what happened, I start to think about everyone on earth.

"They probably think I died..." I say to my self. At this point, it doesn't matter. Declared dead or not, I'm not going to live on earth anymore. After all of this, how can I go back to live there? I finally find out who my real parents were. I feel a hand on my shoulder. I look and it was Jacks'.

"I got a notice that B team got a soldier," he says. I smirk. Zer0, Maya, and Lilith got a hostage. Now it's time for the interrogation part of things. How can I make a grown man break? Or maybe piss his pants. I head to where they kept the hostage. He's in a pitch black room.

Soldiers' POV

I wake up. Everything is dark. Why did I get captured? Am I going to die? I hear something behind me. Shit, this will be the end of me. Footsteps get closer, and closer, and closer. They abruptly stop.

"I have no intention of crippling you," a boys' voice says with a slight chuckle, " but if I have to. I will. Do. Some... redesigning to your... face." he finishes. I look behind me. I see him. That boy. The boy on the Dahl Wanted Board. I try to get out but, my hands. I just now realize. They're frozen in place. Who the hell is this kid?

"What the fuck do you want?" I say. He gets in front of my face. His eyes lock onto mine. His smile, Jesus, his smile. I try to look away, but I just can't. He says in a calm and eerie voice "I will give you and your men this one and only warning. You have no clue what I am capable of. I can show you the definition. Of hell itself." and he just laughs. I swear to you, this kid is something else. He is out of his mind. I admit, after a half hour, I broke. I just couldn't handle it. I told him I would give my general a report of his death. And I actually am going through with it. Jesus Christ.

Odins' POV

After an hour and a half-ish minutes, he gave in and left with a report of my "death". He was screaming when I was with him in that room, but I think it went well.
