Chapter 6: The First Mission

Odin's Pov

I wake up early this morning. It was sunrise. I walk out onto the porch. A nice breeze hits my face. I fix my bed head and go down stairs. I see Gaige and another girl, who's about 13, on my couch. "How the hell did you get in my house?" I ask. They were grabbing cookies that were in the kitchen.  We ended up laughing. "The door was unlocked genius." Gaige said sarcastically. "These aren't chocolate chip... they're raisin!" The girl with a mask on the side of her face yelled. Gaige and I laughed as she ran up to me fake punching me. "You monster." She said. We sit down and I grab a pistol because why the hell not. "The name's Tiny Tina." He held out her hand. I look at her. "Shake it. Shake it shake it shake itt!" She screams. "Ok ok, I'm Odin by the way." I shake her and she was satisfied. I continuously take out the pistol clip. Tina gets up. "I'm bored! Imma go see yo room boi." She says. I sigh and put the clip back in the pistol. Gaige follows me as I go upstairs. Tiny Tina stands in the middle of my room. She points to my bed and then looks at me. "You made a body indent on the mattress. Dayyymn you're tall." She sings. I mouth the words "What the f**k". She walks up to me and asks me my height. Why she does I don't know. "About 6'2, why?" I ask. She says "Because I'm going to make you somethin', no more questions. Got that?". I accept what ever she's going to do. We go back downstairs and I make some food. I hear a thump upstairs. I give the girls the food and I investigate. Lilith was there with an orange glow on my porch. "Do you guys not knock in this place?" I scream. She laughs. "Odin, we're going on a mission. Put on a shirt and come with us." She demanded. I said ok and I pick up my shirt. I put it on and I pick up my guns. I follow Lilith and Gaige. We go to the quick travel and we go to the Highlands. Maya was there waving at us. We had to collect stalker eggs for Sir Hammerlock. We go lower and we try to find the eggs. 

Lilith's Pov

Odin stood still looking at something. "What are you looking at?" I ask. He points to nothing, but his arms moves. Eventually a stalker appears. "Odin, how did you see that?" Maya asks. Odin shrugged. It sees Odin and runs towards him. Odin grabs his pistol and shoots it, but that didn't kill it. It took it's needle tail and stabbed him in the left arm. Odin screams in pain. The stalker dies, and Odin was on the ground clutching his arm. The wound was not there for some reason. There was a faint mark on his arm. It kind of looked like a siren mark, but we weren't sure. Eventually we got the eggs. All of a sudden we were ambushed by stalkers. We were shooting and shooting. Stalkers were piling on us. Out of nowhere there was an ice blast. It came from Odin! His arm was glowing. He made ice from thin air. When the stalkers were finished, he fell to the ground. He was screaming in pain. "It's so cold it hurts!" He yells. I tell him to give me his arm. It was something that I thought was impossible. He had a siren mark! It was different though. It was a nightshade color. "Guys, meet us at Odin's house, there is something you need to see." I tell the team. Gaige summons Death Trap so it can carry him back to Sanctuary. We arrive and the team is there. Death Trap places Odin on the couch. Odin was still grunting in pain. They look at him, then to me and Maya. "Is he a siren?" Axton asks. We told him we didn't know what was happening to him. "I can't move. What's happening to me?" He says. He sounded tired. Tiny Tina enters the room. "What up my hommies?" She says. We catch Tiny Tina up to speed. She looks at his arm. We leave and I get Patricia Tannis to look at him.  She gets this thing to scan his brain. "Something activated in his brain. This is his DNA before the mission and this is after." She said. I asked her what changed. "When the stalker stabbed him in the arm, something from the stalker activated a piece of his dna. I looked into his family. His mother was a siren and that power was passed down to him." She said. I look at Maya in shock. "That means he's-" I start to say. "That means he's the only siren that's a boy in the entire universe." she finished. I look at Odin, who was now sleeping with his left arm being held by Tiny Tina. She was fascinated by his arm. " I gotta change my design!" She says. She runs upstairs and I look at Tannis. "Who's his mother?" I ask quietly. She looks at me and shows me a picture and says "Commandant Steele.". My eyes widend. Commandant Steele was a siren who was killed by the destroyer.  I look at him. Maya was upstairs with Tina. I had to tell them.
