Chapter 14: Who's Leader

Meg's Pov

Boss and the others meet in the Vault Hunter's HQ. Odin and a siren, I think her name was Lilith, argue who was the leader of this team. "I am a skilled siren, you've only practiced for a few days, you're still an armature." She yells. Odin sighed. "You forget, I have abilities that you don't. I have the brains, the power, the attitude of a leader." He says. He had this pissed off tone to his voice. This little girl stepped in. "Ladies, ladies, we can settle this with a fun game." She brings out a revolver. What game was she talking about? Handsome Jack looks and realizes what the game is. He stood in fear. The girl takes out all the bullets and puts in only one. I now understood why Handsome Jack was the way he is right now. "Yall know this game?" She asks. Odin showed no sign of fear. "Oh love it." He replied. Lilith said nothing. The girl held the gun in front of the two. "Ladies first." Odin said. Lilith reached for the gun, held it to her head, and pulled the trigger, and nothing happened. She hands the revolver to Odin. He took it and looks at it for a while. He began to smile. "Lilith, what is bravery?" He asks as he points it to his head. "Grace under pressure." He replies to his own question as he pulled the trigger. He moves the gun to his cheek. "And what is sanity?" he asks again. He pulls the trigger again and answers "A prison of the mind.". He then moves it under his jaw/mouth. Lilith stood there silent and in shock. "And who's the boss?". He pulls the trigger. "I'm the boss." he says with this unnerving smile on his face. Was Odin insane? He could have died right now. The girl declared Odin as the leader of the team and he laughed silently. "Sir, your son freaks me out sometimes." I whispered to him. "Honestly I can agree on that." He replies. Odin aims the gun at a target and pulls the trigger. The gun fired and the bullet hit the wall. He laughs a little and drops the gun to the floor. "We must find the position of any Dahl soldier. We capture at least one, and interrogate them. And in the process, I would like help figuring out how to get back to Earth, I want to see someone." He orders. They all agree and the plan was in action.
