"I'm not ready for this," Luke says as we enter the building for the meeting.
"Of course you are," i assure him.
But the truth was, my own heart hammered in my chest as the secretary told us the meeting room number and pointed us in the correct direction.
We followed her instructions and headed up several flights of stairs that seemed to last forever and when we finally got there, we were all gasping for breathe.
"That's it, I'm not running up those stairs ever again," Michael informed us as he struggled to breathe and his face turned red.
Basically, half way up the stairs Mike declared a race on the rest of us to see who could get to the top of the stairs quicker.
Very mature.
We reached the office that the receptionist told us to go to and Calum leans forward to knock on the door.
After a moment or two, it swings open to reveal a man in a very smart and expensive looking suit with a hard stare on his face.
"You're late," he announces.
"We're not, it's..." I pause to check my watch and confirm that we are dead on time. He coughs and interrupts me
"At Modest, we expect every client to arrive at least ten minutes early," The man clears his throat and looks at us, judging. "That way, we can introduce ourselves and start the meeting right on time."
We all nod in understanding.
"Do I make myself clear?" The man asks. We nod again.
"Good," He holds his hand out for each of us to shake in turn. "I am Chris Davis. I am taking care of all the details concerning you on the tour. Any problems, come to me."
Well... Chris Davis was one very intimidating man.
We were ushered into his office and instantly I felt out of place.
The office was big and professional. Black leather seats stationed in front of a large desk and it was very formal.
Whereas since the weather was scorching hot, I was dressed in cut off shorts and a vest top. The boys were dressed in muscle vests and long shorts.
The place and people were all very formal. And we were... well not.
Our eyes widened as we looked at each other in shock. Each of the boys' face mirrored uncomfortableness. We all wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.
"Take a seat," Mr Davis suggested
We obeyed.
"So..." He began. "It has came to my knowledge that One Direction have requested you guys specifically to tour with them as their support act on their arena tour."
We were silent.
"I have looked at a few of your videos online and I myself am impressed. However, I am aware that we have hit a snag," Chris Davis says, putting his elbows on the table and his fingertips together.
He surveyed us and Michael visibly gulped.
"You have made your own condition up. Am I correct?"
The boys nod and I just sit there awkwardly.
"I of course, do know that you want your friend here to join you on the tour. You will have your own bus so there will be space but I will need all of the necessary paperwork for all of you."
Yet again we just look at him, too dumbfounded to say anything.
Then he does the most unexpected thing we thought from him.
