Tossing and turning all night. I counted sheep, mediated and everything else I could think that would aid in sleep.
Accepting that sleep wasn't happening I decided to clean my room. Moving around in the house would surely wake up Inuyasha. They had a long journey and Inuyasha had a tendency to bit a much traveling pushing everyone to far.
Opening my closet I pulled all my clothes on the wooden floor. We had amassed much at the end of battle merchants sending us weapons, armor and clothes hoping to appease.
Armour wasn't something any of us had worn and preferred. It was too heavy and bulky making too much noise and restricting movement.
I had long retired my school uniform, from wear and accepting the fact that this was not my time and running around in a short skirt didn't attract the right kind of attention.
Running my hands over intricate kimonos, they were beautiful but there weren't for a small town of Edo they were meant for daughters of lords and rich men.
I had worn a beautiful teal kimono at Sango and Miroku's wedding. It was much more work than western wear but there was something so rewarding with wearing them.
Wrapping the kimono's back into their boxes, I moved onto packing clothes into a trunk, I would stay the demon slayer village. Help out with everything and Sango was into condition to refuse any help.
Kimonos weren't what I would wear on a daily basis I wore simpler lighter kimonos frequently but usually I wore haoris. Haoris were for men put they were much more comfortable and easily changeable with a simple change in fitting and pattern.
I actually had many youkai skin body suits like Sango now, I would wear those with a haori on top it was comfortable and relaxing.
Carefully packed my bras and panties, the ones I had brought from home had long fallen apart. Sango had sewn some for me that were much more comfortable than anything I had ever bought at Victoria Secret. There was still a couple centuries between me and my next intimates purchase.
Making sure I had enough clothes for every occasion that could rise and plenty of options, I packed herbs, oils, and bandages making sure to leave some behind in case Kaede needed them.
Lifting up a base board I removed my weapons from within the small hidden compartment. A bow arrows , a small katana and a sword wrapping them all up I put them in the trunk that was quickly running out of the room.
Birds began to chirp outside, opening the window it was just before dawn but the sky was beginning to lighten. There was a soft knock on my door, Inuyasha popped his head in.
"What are you doing?" He asked as he looked around quizzically.
Stretching out my body," Couldn't sleep, I thought I would stay there for some time. I'll just get dressed and finish off before making some breakfast. " I answered closing the windows.
"Sounds good, I start some tea for you." He spoke out of the door.
"Thanks," I whispered, knowing he would definitely hear but hoping Shippo wouldn't I did want to wake him.
Packing up everything make sure I had everything I began to dress slipping on tights and a light blue haori. Looping a belt around my waist, slipping a small pouch of coin and a katana.
There would be no morning bath today, Sesshomaru had probably woke up in his right mind and went but by the off chance he hadn't I didn't want to risk it.
Looking at the bite mark from last night it had healed completely, it was smooth. The healed skin was not a pink it was almost a sparkling silver. The flesh looked as though two silver crescents. I would have to show Sango. It was hidden beneath the haori, I would talk to Sango and then eventually tell Inuyasha. That would be an incredibly awkward conversation.
