I jolted awake as someone shook me, groaning I moved the covers from my face. Blinking I focused on the face in front of me.
"Wake up Kagome, you have slept long enough." He spoke bending down next to me. Furrowing my brow I looked at him in confusion.
Yawning I stretched up in bed. I looked around I was in his bedroom, in his bed. I looked over at him. "How did I get here?" Asking as I physically took toll of myself. Nothing was array , the wounds on my waist pained a little.
Moving out of bed, I stood up a little swaying. He stood up in front of me, slowly moving up to loom over me. I looked up at him.
"You feel asleep at the table." He gestured over his shoulder. Right. So he decided to put me in his bed than return me to mine.
"Oh, right I remember now." Speaking as he moved closer to me. I looked at him as he closed the distance between us.
He wound his arm around my waist pulling me flush to him. His intoxicating smell filling my lungs.
Wide eyed I looked up at his face the leaned so close to mine. " What have you decided upon then?" He asked as rested his forehead on mine.
"Decided on what?." Whispering as I closed my eyes and leaned into his embrace.
"On us." He spoke sending a flutter in my chest. Opening my eyes, I blinked. Stepping back I quickly wound myself under his arm and stood behind.
"I should go, to my room not like go as in away but like now I should go." Mumbling as I moved toward the door. Quickly stepping out I closed the door behind me and leaned against it. Closing my eyes I caught my breath, a faint laughter from within brought a smile to my face.
" Should I take this as a sign as things are going well?" Asked Akira as she made her way out of her room.
Quickly straightening up, I smiled "We were just talking, there is still a lot that needs to be discussed things that I need to know." Speaking as though I was defending myself.
Akira laughed and looped my her arm around my arm. " Of course, how about we take a morning walk before breakfast." She smiled as she guided me.
Walking out of the family wing, I looked out at the city. It was bustling people were moving about.
"Can we go to the city today?" Asking wanting to leave this palace that I had been confined too long.
" We can't not until the news of your mating is announced. within the castle, there is no fear of the news leaking."She smiled at me.
Akira and I ate breakfast laughing and giggling, she and I were on our way to becoming good friends.
Not feeling like sparring or training I sat in the family wing, looking at the photos and books that covered the lower level.
I sat with an open book on my lap gazing off. My thoughts were preoccupied, about a certain lord.
I had hoped talking to Sesshomaru would have cleared things up and helped make a decision. Yet here I sat knowing less about than I thought I did.
I wish I could talk with Sango or anyone of my friends. I need to talk to Inuyasha and explain all that had happened between Sesshomaru and I. Inuyasha must feel as though I betrayed him with his brother.
I re-read the same sentence over in a botanical book I had been reading for the last hour. Sighing I put the book down beside me.
"No training with Akira today?" Asked a stoic lord. Glancing over my shoulder to look at him I nodded.
