Her words stunned me, licking my lips I looked down at my hands. This wasn't the explanation I was looking for. What I wanted to hear was it a was a mistake a mistake that could be undone.
This wasn't something that just happened. The mark took hold. " Can it be undone?" I asked.
Giving me a look she put down her utensils. "I wouldn't know there has never been an instance that a mating needed to be undone But it's possible, there are hundreds of thousands of scrolls in the family wing there could be one in there of how to." Speaking as she placed her hand on my arm. "Kagome you do understand what this means, the mark took hold you belong together."
I looked down at her hand, taking a deep breath. This was not what I wanted to hear. Looking at her I spoke. " I don't even know him, what about my choice? What about what I want?"
"You have known him for years through the hunt. He was always there" Smiling at me as my heart dropped. My breathing began to hike.
" Know him, he shared a handful or words and less than that with me. He appeared out of nowhere, threatening Inuyasha. The first time I met him, he tried to kill me.The only humanity I saw in him with Rin." I whispered as thoughts whirled around my mind.
Souls, it wasn't just physical attraction. But it could be undone, it had to be undone. This wasn't what I wanted this wasn't my choice.
"He wasn't always this way. He changed after after." She trailed on looking over my shoulder.
"Kagome." I closed my eyes, I didn't want to see him. I didn't want to be near him, I wanted to leave."
"Yes." Speaking as I opened my eyes. He was in front of me kneeling.
" I believe you have had enough space, I will answer any questions you have." He spoke giving a look at Akira.
" I'll go check up on how the training is going." Akira smiled as she rose. Please don't leave me alone with him. I watched her leave.
Slowly I turned toward him. I couldn't escape him, I would have to face him.
" You said you wouldn't allow the West to fall because of me what did you mean?" Asking one of the questions that plagued my mind.
He gracefully he sat down next to me. I watched him pour himself some tea in my cup. He looked at me as he sipped the cup. A flutter in my chest.
" I believe Akira has explained the mating bond." His golden eyes caught mines as I nodded. " A mating bond binds together two souls, but as those souls bind they are at their weakest. The closer they are the stronger they are. Our life forces are bound if you die, I die. From what I have seen , your are not capable of saving yourself with or without your holy powers." His lip tugged into a smirk as he took a drink.
That's why I couldn't bring forth my holy powers. I wanted to hit him , show him how capable I was but I am sure I would end up hurting myself proving his point even more.
"So I am a fragile human incapable of defending myself, but what about you how have you the great Sesshomaru weakened?" I asked with anger. It wasn't fair.
" My weakness is not the same as yours, they cannot be seen." He spoke as he places the cup on the table.
I stood up , my hands shaking. " I don't understand, you could have stopped yourself. Sure I had no idea what I was doing but you. You knew what you were doing." Speaking attempting to keep my voice at a moderate level. I needed to stop yelling, screaming, running all I had been doing was acting like I had lost my mind since that night.
He stood up in front of me. This time, I walked toward him. "You could have stopped yourself, you had a choice." Speaking as I jabbed him with my finger. He looked down at my finger.
