Leaning against the warm rocks, breathing in the steam. "Kami." I groaned. I drank way too much last night in the swing of things laughing and dancing.

It felt great to have a bath, I was still feeling down. A headache was still there and I felt sluggish and annoyed but it could just be from this cold.

Rubbing the bite mark I groaned, damn this thing was killing me I should really talk to Sango. Finishing bathing I slowly made my way back to the village taking my time.

Yawning, I felt the pulse once again coming from Midoriko's cave. I stopped contemplating , should I follow a mysterious pulse. Last time I had felt it was in the final battle with Naraku . There wasn't anyone there it was secluded and there weren't any auras. Only someone that knew it was there would know to go there. I couldn't do this today. Shaking my head I ignoring it and went back to the village.

I sat down next to Sango that who was stitching some clothes. I had given her a herb drink that would help her with morning sickness she had taken it and it seemed to be working.

"Where are the boys?" I asked. Sango and I were the only women here, we were overrun by males.

"I think they are fixing the shrine." She answered putting down the stitching and began to comb through my hair. I handed her my oil she rubbed it in.

Sango was the older sister I never had we weren't raised together we didn't fight over clothes or boys. We fought for each other, defended each other and would continue to.

I relaxed into her hands as the worked through my scalp, after she had finished I had rested my head on her knees and ran my hand lazily on a sleeping Kirara.

"Is something wrong?" Sango questioned me finishing her stitching. I look up at her, should I tell her what had happened with Sesshomaru. It could have been a weird random one off thing, she didn't need the added worry. Part of me asked what if it wasn't a one-off thing.

"Too much sake." Smiling while stretching out as she walked around the hut with a slight limp she was avoiding pressure on her right leg. "Let me take a look at that leg," I spoke as walked around gathering bandaging, balms, and oils.

Rolling up her kimono I unwound the bloody bandaging. I should've done this last night.

The cut was worse than had expected it was a long gash on her calf. Cleaning it out, I looked at Sango her hands gripped the stool, knuckles turning white.

" I am going to grab Kohaku." Reassuringly smiling as I put a pot of hot water on the stove.

"Kagome.." She went to stop me I knew Sango she would tell me it was nothing and it didn't hurt. She would lie.

Walking up to her I leaned down."Sango, I have to clean it and stitch it up or it will fester and become infected."Whispering as I placed my hand on her belly." We have more than your health to consider now."Smiling at her.

"Alright, don't bring Miroku he will hover and worry for no reason." She smiled placing her hand over mine.

Nodding I went off to find Kohaku, a cool wind whirled around the village. Looking over my shoulder as I rounded a corner looking at the gate.

Shaking my head, I walked toward hammering.

Inuyasha and Koga were on the roof of the shrine hammering away, while Ginta and Hakkaku replaced the cracked stone flooring inside the shrine.

Demons fixing up a human shrine that was a contradiction, I thought. Walking in I looked at the paintings on the walls, it was a story. Miroku was in the process of restoring every single word and picture.
