Agonizingly turned to face me his golden eyes brimming with crimson, he leaned in. His hot breath tickling across my face. His nose almost touching mine. His eyes unwavering as the stared into mines.
Heart pounding in my chest , I winced as his claws dug in deeper. I could feel the piercing of skin and warm blood trickling.
"Please let me go." Whispering almost too soft for me to hear. I hit a demon a demon lord when I was being held by him and powerless.
Releasing my waist he pulled down the collar of my haori, exposing the mark. A flash of silver as his head went passed ,pain exploded across my body it was like I was being torn apart. It was white hot pain everywhere, every nerve, every muscle all at once. Black dots skewed my vision as I fought to hold on to consciousness.
He was bitting my mark. This bite was much deeper than the first it felt darker and wrong than before. It felt as I was prey. A silent scream stuck in my throat. My hands slipped away from him as I lost the strength.
"Stop, please stop." Sango's voice echoed. Letting go I lost all strength in my limbs and slid down the wall. Collapsed I looked up at Sango, she was pressed into the ground bowing. Her forehead was pressed up against the ground .
"She doesn't understand, she doesn't know." She spoke as she avoided eye contact with him. Figures gathered behind her but my eyes could not focus. All I saw were blobs of colour.
Dazed I looked at her "She is mine!" He growled as he stalked toward her. He would not harm her she was pregnant. He would not. Would he?'
Within a breath he held Sango by the neck, her feet barely touching the ground. I was wrong. In the next breath, I was on my feet.
"Stop, stop let her go and I'll do...." Speaking as I swayed. "I'll do..." Blinking my body felt like as lead my eyes rolled back as I fell into white hot pain.
Cool wind going past me and playing with my hair was the first thing that came to my senses, the next was the sensation was being held by muscular arms and leaning against a cool chest. An intoxicating scent invaded my noises, a scent I could immediately place. A scent that was the last thing I wanted right now.
Slowly blinking, I opened my eyes. Sesshomaru looked start ahead, shifting against him his grip tightened.
Twisting to look at my the bite mark that was not visible, but my entire left shoulder was drenched with blood. He was drenched in blood, his bloody hands held onto.
Blinking , I took a deep breath. "Let me go." Speaking with what I hoped sounded like authority.
He slowly shifted his gaze from in front to me. With an unwavering stare, he caught my eyes. I wanted to look away , his gaze of molten gold was too intense but it felt as though this was something more not just a stare but a fight for dominance that I would not break from. He searched my eyes, finding whatever he searched for he answered.
"We are going to the Western Palace." He answered coldly and looked straight ahead once again.
Becoming more and more aware how I was pressed up against his body, how very intimate we were I shuffled against him. To be near him here now in this moment after what he had done to me, put me through repulsed me.
"I can stand." Speaking blatantly. He did not react , making me think he had chosen to ignore me but slowly he released his hold on my legs.
Gasping as I stepped onto a cloud, subconsciously moving toward him the only solid. His hand moved to the small of my back with a reassuring touch.
I had seen him manifest his cloud multiple times in the past but not once had I ever been on it. Myoga had explained that only great and powerful demons were able to travel with demon clouds since the required absolute certainty in one's powers and the mental capability to be aware of everything and yet concentrate on only one thing.
