When we step on the stage where we had met a little more than twenty four hours ago, it's enough to overwhelm anyone. You see, I underexaggerated just a little with Louis earlier. Hall Cross is a fairly large school, and the talent show may be one of the largest events. Louis most likely knows that of course, since he had gone there, but still.
Anyways, the place is packed. I have never seen it like this before. It is completely full, not a seat to spare. And there is a pool that fills in the gap between the stage and the front row of seats.Well, not the front row seats anymore! The pool of girls are lining the stage, and as we step on, they start to crawl on. There are posters that say how much they love Louis, everywhere. You would think it was a concert or something. How did they even know he was going to perform with me? Must've been Evans and his big mouth trying to get me out of the school even faster than after the talent show. I am ticked.
The screams are so loud that even when the music does start, as I imagine it does, I can't hear. When I tap the microphone, nothing. Yet I try to say something to Louis, and he turns to face me immediately. He starts talking from what I can tell by his lips, yet I can't make out a word he says.
"WHAT?!" I scream. He just tugs me by the arm backstage. He rubs his ears when we are back to the quiet.
"You didn't have to shout." He whimpers.
"What do you mean?! Every single one of those idiots were yelling their heads off!" I snap.
"They aren't idiots! They're great; dedicated and sweet." Louis fumbles with his hands. I can tell he is flattered and loves his fans, which is great and all, but they're ruining the performance!
"Yeah that's great and all Louis, but I can't even hear the music! How are we supposed to perform?!" I roll my eyes. Keep your eye on the prize...
"I can hear fine, this follows us pretty much everywhere since I'm so... Me." He shrugs, gloating.
I just give him the classic Birdy "are you kidding me" look.
"Calm down, they're sensible girls, they'll be quiet if we ask." At this, he grabs me by the hand and leads me back onstage.
The girls (also known as our entire female population) continue to be mental, while the rest of the audience (mainly the entire male population) sit back in their seats with annoyed expressions that say "why am I here again?" I'm wondering the exact same thing fellas, trust me.
I mean, I understand most of it. Louis is... Louis. Like he said, he's pretty fit. He can sing. He shows that not all people from the school turn out bad, and he just has that presence. But when it gets to the point where I can't even try to sing with him, it's rediculous. I've been looking forward to this day for the whole of the school year, it's all that I could thing of with positivity. ...Well besides summer of course. And yeah, it's cool that I'm singing with him and all, but there's a little part of me that can't shake the feeling that it's now the Louis show. I want to leave this place with a bang. But from what's going on, it seems the only bang I could leave with is if I were to shoot myself. Stay tuned on that one.
Louis grabs his mic and starts to speak. The girls scream louder. Yup they'll sure listen to reason. I stand in a pretty awkward position. I mean, what am I supposed to do when Louis' busy trying to calm them down? And when he does they'll start the music. I can't leave because I'll miss my cue. So I take a seat on the stage and pull my mobile out. Who can I text that won't be spazzing over Louis?
My mind drifts back to when we were leaving Zayn...

"We have to rehearse!" Louis announces.
