THE FLOWER CROWN

SASUKE POV (PAST)

It was a pleasant spring afternoon. Not too chilly nor too hot...it was just right. I looked up to the cherry blossoms that were in full bloom. I admire their bright pink color...it's so pretty...but I would never admit that! I smiled again and continued my small sand castle in the sandbox.

Onii-chan brought me to the park today after picking me up from kindergarten. He said something about seeing an old friend and that his friend was gonna meet him here.

"He also said I would have a friend to play with...that liar," I said out loud to myself while I pouted.

I looked over at onii-chan and saw he was reading his book. Onii-chan is in the 6th year of primary school. He's gonna end up going to another big school.

Soon I noticed a guy coming on his bike at full speed with someone else about my age in the basket of his black bike. But the person had a big sweater on so I couldn't see who it was...a girl...or a boy. Then he immediately stopped in front of onii-chan. I heard a small yelp come from the mystery person.

"Itachi sorry I am late," said a guy who had darkish red hair and brown eyes. "I had to pick up Sakura-chan from Kindergarten and the teacher had to talk to me," he said. "It's alright don't worry about it...is she your younger sister by the way?" Onii-chan asked.

Hmm...so its a girl...and her name is Sakura-chan...like the cherry blossoms...I wonder why her parents named her Sakura...

I walked over to Onii-chan and hid behind his legs while holding it. "Ah no...but I really wished. She is my neighbor and I just ended up being really close to her. She even calls me Onii-chan which I find really cute." he said while laughing and rubbing his neck.

Soon Onii-chan noticed me and picked me up.

"Sasuke meet Sasori the friend who I was talking about. And Sakura is the person who was going to play with you for the day" he said while introducing me to them.

"Ohayo Sasuke I'm Sasori...and this is Sakura-chan," he said taking the small girl out of the sweater and embracing her in his arms. My eyes widened at what I was seeing. Her hair was pink...just like the cherry blossoms in spring...

I admired her hair cause unlike cherry blossoms which only bloom in spring...her hair bloomed all year long...that truly is beautiful.

"O-Ohayo Sasuke," she said while glaring at me. "Gomen Sasuke she had a rough time at school...again..."Sasori said while sadly looking at Sakura.

She had bright emerald eyes like if I was seeing through a beautiful green forest. But it was quite hard to notice due to her bright pink bangs hiding them...they were all in front of her face.

"O-Ohayo" I managed to say...

"Alright you two go and play for the day before its times to leave," Onii-chan said while Sasori nodded.

Soon Sasori put Sakura down. She looked up at Sasori who simply nodded. She had a small smile and ran to where all the flowers were under the cherry blossom tree.

Soon Onii-chan put me down not before Sasori crouched down to my level.

"Ne Sasuke why don't you go cheer up Sakura-chan. She had a rough day at school today" he said while smiling.

"Why she seems nice I guess," I said while he laughed. "Yeah, I noticed she glared at you. You see kids at her school make fun of her. Due to her rare pink hair and her big forehead. I'm trying to help her embrace her beauty. But it seems I have a long way to go still" he said while smiling.
