THE TRAIN RIDE

SAKURA POV

Sigh...I stared up the darkened sky from all the grey colored cloud inside my room...it just might rain the weather said... on the first day of school...well it is April along with the spring showers...

I look at the time 6:30 am I should hurry or else I am gonna be late for the train. Way better than riding my bike due to the far distance of where the school is.

Onii-chan is too busy to even ask him for a ride. Since his term also began. I was lost in thought until my phone buzzed.

I grabbed it while unlocking it to see a message from Onii-chan. I read the message while a smile was brought to my face. 

Onii-chan: Gomen I couldn't take you to school...but I hope you have fun at school and make lost of friends. I will pick you up after school. :)

I immediately texted back. 

Cherry Blossom: Arigato Onii-chan...you're the best!!

Alright time to get ready. I took a quick shower and once I was out I wrapped my body in a towel and blow dried my hair. I decided to braid my hair into one single-sided braid until I got to the pink of my tips that's when I decided to tie it with a small black rubber band. Then I tied it with my red old ribbon. Satisfied with my hair I got out of the bathroom and into my room. 

I looked at the school uniform which seemed quite fancy. Thank god I don't get to buy anything cause then I would seriously have no money...speaking of money I need to look for a job too. I want to start saving money. 

I eyed at how nice the uniform was compared to the simple one I had for my previous high school. 

The skirt was red with an outline of black on the bottom. Along with a dark colored green jacket that was also outlined with black with golden colored buttons on the jacket to close it up and on the end of the sleeves. Then a white color button up shirt with a red bow tie. And some sort of side belt that hanged onto your waist with 3 golden rings attached to it indicating that I am a third year at the school. 

I quickly put everything on along with knee length socks. I grabbed my black simple black JanSport backpack that had three small buttons on the right side strap. A red rose design one that meant for Sasori, a cute small orange fox for Naruto, and a cherry blossom tree for me. 

I was walking happily downstairs until once I got to the bottom my mother gasp. I was about to ask her whats wrong until I remembered my hair...

"Sakura Haruno what have you done to you beautiful pink hair..." she said while looking sadly at me...slowly her hands grabbed the tip of hair where some vibrant pink was still alive...

"Nothing I just wanted a new look...whats the harm," I said while staring at her. She always knew that I hated my pink hair...she simply sigh and gave me a small forced smile. 

"Alright dear...but one day I am sure you will embrace it," she said while walking to the kitchen. 

"I hope that day comes soon..."I said while smiling at her to which she smiled honestly now. Quickly I went to go put on my school shoes and grabbed my black Nike duffle bag checking everything was inside...including my new bat. 

I was at the front door checking once more I had everything. With a smile, I opened the door and turned around. 

"I'm off!" I yelled while my mother smiled and waved goodbye with a good luck. Then my father came out shocked at seeing my hair. Before another lecture, I quickly ran out letting my mother do the explaining to him.
