Ugh, Dobe was so annoying today at work. He wouldn't stop asking dumbass questions. Hmm, he also ended up inviting me to Ichiraku's but denied because I was tired from football practice and work.
I walked down the empty dimmed light streets to get home. Wasn't far from where work and school. And it isn't dangerous since this part of town is where most of the wealthy people live.
This term is about to over soon...I am so glad. I noticed that the days have been getting chilly. Well, it is December after all...but snow doesn't come till January.
I finally made it to my semi-large house. I got in through the gates and opened the door.
"Tadaima," I said to no one in particular. Onii-chan is at work with our father. And my mother is probably at her office designing some new fashion trends.
I walked into my room and got undressed from my pizza smelly uniform to take a shower. Once inside I couldn't stop thinking about Sakura-chan. I seriously need to stop this or else I will go insane. It would have been way easier to find her if I knew her surname but obviously, I don't and neither does Onii-chan.
The only way to who she is now is by her beautiful cherry blossom hair.
I sigh and turned off the water and got out of the shower and into my room. I quickly changed into a pair of shorts and a simple t-shirt. I grabbed my phone from the desk where I do my homework and noticed the now dead flower crown from that time...forget me nots...now that I am older I know its meaning. I smiled.
"Maybe I should just give up... I'll probably never see her again...," I said to myself while looking at the new message I had received.
"Besides...I have a girlfriend" I mumbled while replying back to her.
SAKURA POV
"Finally Saturday," I said to myself while eating cereal. I was in some black Nike sports legging along with a black Nike sports bra. I parted my hair into two and braided them from the top of my head all the way to the end.
I texted Naruto to see if we are still meeting up. "He should be up by now its 10 am," I said to myself while grabbing my phone and calling him. After a couple of rings, he finally picked up.
"Hey we still meeting up right," I asked while munching on more cereal. "Hmm yeah, just I need--AAAHHH!!" I heard through the other line and a loud crash. "Naruto Uzumaki look at what you have done!!" I heard Mrs. Uzumaki yelled. "Gomen ma!!" Naruto yelled back. I sweatdropped while they continued to fight.
"I'll just meet you there," I said while hanging up. I grabbed my black sweater that belongs to Sasori but now its mine and put it on. Grabbed my duffle bag and put it on my shoulder while fixing my hair inside my hoodie and putting it on.
"I'm off!" I yelled to no one in particular since both my parents are working. As I walked out I noticed Onii-chan.
"Onii-chan!" I yelled while waving to him. He seems to notice and walked over with a smile on his face.
"Let me guess Saturday practice with Naruto," he said. "Yeah I gotta get super ready when try-outs start at Konohoa High Elite," I said with a huge grin. He patted my head and smiled.
"That's my girl well I'm off gotta finish some homework. Wanna come over for dinner?" he asked while I nodded and smiled. "Bring Naruto if you want too okay" he added.
"I will bye Onii-chan," I said while grabbing my black bicycle and began to race my way towards the park. I passed by many shops and restaurants but there was one shop I always stopped to look at the most beautiful bat ever. It was a limited edition bat where you can get it customized to however you want. I stopped by the window of the store and looked at the bat that sat in the window.
It was a smooth black bat with silver tape around the handle for more grip. I read the paper under it.
"Only 3 more left huh...well I am almost at enough savings to buy you," I said while smiling and riding my bike again. I pulled up my hoodie even more and raced down the street to reach the park. Naruto must be there already.
Finally arriving I noticed Naruto waiting on the bench for me. "Gomen I am late," I said while chaining my bike and walking over to him.
"Nah its alright though I am pretty sure you stopped by the shop again huh," he said while I nodded vigorously.
"I am gonna buy that bat and created into my own. A one and only Sakura Haruno bat" I said while he smiled.
"You know I can just buy it for you Sakura-chan," he said while shrugging his shoulders.
"NO!" I shouted at him. "I want to buy it by myself...and you are my friend...I know you are wealthy and I am not but that doesn't mean you have to buy me whatever I want. True friendship is when no one expects nothing in return...where we are together through thick and thin" I said while smiling at him. He nodded in understanding and so we got ready to practice.
"Hmm I need to work in catching so lets practice catching and with each throw, we step back to create a bigger distance between us," I said while Naruto nodded and got his glove ready to begin.
Naruto Uzumaki one of the best players in his high school where he goes to...though I never bothered in asking him which one.
And then there is me. Sakura Haruno my number is 17. Reason for that is because when I was 5 is when I met Sasori. And when I turned 12 was when I met Naruto and adding them together is equal to 17.
Naruto is also 17 since he met someone he deeply cares about at age 5 and met me at age 12.
Both him and I are known for our amazing skills in baseball and softball.
"Hey Sakura lets practice on our batting!" he yelled while I nodded and ran towards him.
"Alright, you first. I'll be the pitcher and you batter" he said while I nodded and grabbed my first and only bat that Onii-chan got me. It's a black bat with a cherry blossom tape around the handle.
I got ready for position and prepared to hit the ball.
"Hey, batter batter swing!!!" Naruto yelled while throwing the ball. I eyed the fastball and got ready to swing.
"Cha!!!" I yelled while hitting the ball really high within a far distance. Really...far...again...
"Well, there goes another ball..." Naruto said while I sweatdropped.
"Yeah well it seems its getting dark. Hey wanna come over and have dinner with Sasori and I " I asked while packing my things.
"Sure don't mind" he said while doing the same. Soon he grabbed my bike and got on it with me on the back. I grabbed onto his shoulders and off we rode into the streets.
