Chapter 11

*Luke's POV*

Jacquelyn and I were running away from Michael who was counting down from 100, trying to find a place to hide. There was a wooden shed type thing farther behind Ashton's house with woods behind it, with Jacquelyn's hand in mine, I pulled her towards the back of the shed. We went a little bit into the dark woods, leaves and twigs breaking beneath our feet. Finding a giant tree, we sat down, our backs against the tree, my arm around her waist, her head on my shoulder. I loved moments like this, where we could just sit next to each other, her in my arms, in a comfortable silence.

We had been sitting for about 5 minutes when Jacquelyn lifted her head from my shoulder, turning to look at me. I studied the outline of her face in the moonlight. Her green eyes shining even in the dark, her lips glossy looking from her chapstick, her adorable nose.

She was perfect in my eyes and she was all mine.I grabbed her shoulders to turn her towards me so out bodies were directly across from each other, I started leaning in and so did she. Our lips touched, it was a slow and passionate kiss. Nothing rushed or needy, it was nice. Her lips were soft and I could faintly taste the mint flavor of her chapstick and from the mint gum she had previously been chewing. My right hand was on her cheek and my left hand on her waist. She had her arms wrapped around my neck, hanging loosely. Suddenly, I heard leaves crunching, I opened my eyes, pulling away to see Michael looking at us.

"Found you guys, and really?!" Michael asked, looking at us with a displeased look.

"Hey we were getting bored waiting to be found and that was a quiet thing to do while we waited!" I explained to him, Jacquelyn giggling at my explanation, as we walked back to Ashton's house where I saw Calum and Jerika on the porch.

"So just Car and Ash left?" Jacquelyn asked looking at the two on the porch and back to Michael.

"Yup, I'm gonna go look for them now." Michael answered turning around to go look the the two.

"How long have you guys been sitting here?" I asked Calum and Jerika, while Jacquelyn and I took a seat on the porch beside them.

"For about 10 minutes, we were found after like the first 3 minutes. I guess hiding behind a bush wasn't such a great idea.." Calum answered trailing off towards the end and Jerika let out a laugh, grabbing his hand and interlocking their fingers. Me and Jacquelyn laughed, and I grabbed her hand doing the same.

"So, do you guys know if Ash likes Carly?" Jacquelyn randomly asked after we had stopped laughing.

"I think her does because when you texted him telling him she was here he screamed and ran around smiling. Plus he's always smiling when he's around her, it's pretty cute." Jerika answered smiling.

"They need to get together, Carly likes him too and I think they would be fucking adorable." Jacquelyn told us with enthusiasm in her voice and a smile on her face. I love it when she cusses, it just sounds hot coming out of her mouth. I let out a quiet laugh and rubbed my thumb across her thumb gently.

"Oh my god yes! You guys should talk to Ash about this and make him do something about it. How long is she gonna be here?" Jerika said, directing her question to Jacquelyn.

"Till the end of June." She answered, laying her head on my shoulder.

"Perfect! Now we just need Ashton to man up and ask her out!" Jerika laughed and looked at Calum and I, which meant we needed talk to him which she had already asked us to do.

Suddenly we hear Michael laughing walking back to us with Ashton and Carly trailing behind him with their heads down in embarrassment. I wonder what that's about. Michael ran up to us laughing.

"Guess what I caught them doing?!" He asked us all, with Ashton and Carly's faces bright red in embarrassment.

"What?" Jerika asked, with a curious smile on her face. I'm pretty sure we had all figured it out.

"They were making out behind the big tree by the fence on the left side, just like Jacquelyn and Luke." Michael answered, causing Ashton to lightly hit him in the shoulder and then grab Car's hand. I looked over at Jacquelyn and her cheeks were redder than usual from Michaels answer, so I pecked her on the cheek which cause her face to get even redder. She smiled and looked down, using her free hand to play with the multiple bracelets that covered both of her arms.

"Awwwww!" Jerika cooed making a kissey face towards them, to which they laughed at as well as everyone else.

After we had finished embarrassing them enough, we headed inside and watched Mean Girls because Carly and Ashton wanted to. Me and Jacquelyn, Jerika and Calum, and Ashton and Carly were cuddled up on the couch with Michael on the ground laying on his back. I looked around at all of my friends, I could never have asked for a better group of weird friends and a great girlfriend, I couldn't be any happier than I was now surrounded by all of them.
