Chapter 5

I laid in bed going over the events of yesterday with Luke. Nothing could wipe the smile off of my face today! I reached over unplugging my phone from the the charger, laying back in my bed. I looked at my phone and it said it was 10 am, I saw I had a text from Jerika reminding me to come over to help her get ready for her date with Calum, I texted her back saying I would be over at 12 so we could eat lunch and talk about my date with Luke. I sluggishly got up and thought about what I wanted I wear today. I finally decided on black shorts, a tribally type shirt, and my black Vans, I then grabbed some underwear, no-show socks, and a bra. I went into the bathroom and changed, brushing out my hair and then fishtail braiding it down the back. I brushed my teeth, than I put on my usual makeup, mascara, eyeliner, and some concealer. I sprayed some perfume on, looked in the mirror seeing if I looked decent, seeing I looked ok I made my way down the stairs seeing my mom and dad on the couch watching tv.

"Hi! I'm gonna go over to Jerika's, I'm not sure when I'll be back, but I'll text you if something pops up!" I told them looking at the clock on the wall seeing it was 11:45 and I should probably get going. I grabbed my keys and my tan Tommy Hilfiger purse and I was out of the door. I got inside my Elantra and headed off to Jerika's house that was only about 4 ish minutes away. I pulled up and walked up to the door, walked in and set my purse with my keys in it on the table by her door, sliding my shoes off in the process. We both had keys to each others houses, so this was normal. I found her sitting on the couch with shorts and a Sleeping With Sirens shirt on. I ran over to her and jumped on the couch yelling hi at the same time.

"Hi babe!" She said while laughing at me. "What do you want for lunch?" She asked me calming down from laughing at me.

"I don't care, whatever's fine with me!" I told her smiling.

"Ok, sandwiches it is!" She said getting up and walking into the kitchen, me following closely behind. We quickly made some sandwiches and got water.

"So, how was yesterday?" She asked me smiling and sitting down at her kitchen table, I did the same.

"It was honestly one of the best days of my life, he was so cute and it was amazing. He took us to this cute little diner then we walked on the beach as the sun was setting, it was beautiful. Then he sat down on this bench and I sat down, he put his arm around my waist and pulled me close. I put my head on his shoulder and he then asked me if I liked him and I told him I did and he told he liked me." I told her leaving out a minor detail, hoping she would ask if anything else happened.

"Aw that's so fucking cute! You guys are adorable! But I feel like you're leaving something out!" She told me excitedly.

"It was really cute, and yes I did! Haha, he leaned in to kiss me and I told him I've never kissed anyone and then he kissed me. It was amazing, hell, it was perfection." I told her sighing at the end.

"HE KISSED YOU AS THE SUN WAS SETTING OH MY GOD THAT IS SO CUTE!" She yelled happily, smiling at me.

"I know! I hope he ask's me out again because he makes me feel special." I told Jerika blushing.

"He will, I know it." Jerika told me smirking.

"Well I hope he does because he makes me happy." I told her smiling.

"I know he does babe." She told me and we both finished out food.

"Can you help me pick out an outfit please?" Jerika asked me getting up from her seat.

"Of course!" I said happily getting up and throwing anyway my trash. We both walked upstairs to her room. I walked in and sat on the edge of her bed, she went into her huge closet that I was very jealous of. After a few minutes she walked out holding a dress and a skirt with a jean button up shirt.
