Natasha Prince

At the beginning of the battle, Natasha felt a strange calm. She felt levelheaded like she had done this before. She fought Death Eater after Death Eater until she found Bellatrix Lestrange running inside the school. "Fight me, bitch!" she yelled as she chased after her. Lestrange turned but kept running. She fired the Cruciatus Curse but Natasha deflected it. Natasha summoned all her loathing for Lestrange and fired the curse back. Lestrange screamed and fell. She shook like she was having a seizure, but she got back up before Natasha reached her.

"We can play later," Lestrange shouted as she ran as fast as she could. Lestrange ran with determination, but it couldn't match Natasha's. They reached the corridor that went to the Room of Requirement. Natasha screamed, "You'll pay, bitch!" She heard people in front of them but didn't care. Lestrange kept running so she did too. The Golden Trio, Draco, and Goyle came into sight. Bellatrix cackled as soon as she saw Harry. "Well done, Draco," she shouted hysterically.

Draco wasn't paying attention as he seemed to be dying like the others. Natasha fired the Cruciatus curse at Lestrange again. It narrowly missed her. "You nasty little Mudblood!"

"What about me?" she replied savagely. She fired another curse and another. Lestrange and Natasha began to duel. The curses were fast and plenty. Natasha advanced slowly to protect Harry from Lestrange. "Aren't you supposed to be good? All you can do is hurt the defenseless!"

She fired more curses in quick succession. She decided it was time to do what Severus taught her. "SECTUMSEMPRA!" Lestrange's chest started turning dark red. She screamed and started healing herself. "Potter! Get out of here," Natasha ordered. She fired a stunning spell at Lestrange before turning on her heel and ignoring the stares of the others.

As she walked away, the war inside her caused by Draco Malfoy got stronger. She wanted to heal him but needed to keep him from going back out to the battlefield. When she rounded the corner, she couldn't help stopping and looking back at him. He sat with pain on his face and looked helpless because he had no wand. Not only was he in physical pain, but he was hurting inside. She made up her mind as she stared at his handsome face now covered in soot: she wouldn't treat him differently than any other Death Eater if he sided with Riddle. She spun around and kept going.

She ran to the battlefield and started raising hell. She got cut, scraped, and bruised as she fought Death Eaters. She came across Narcissa Malfoy, who looked overall awful. Her skin was tinged grey, and her eyes were sunken and bloodshot. She was staggering around looking confused. She tripped and fell. Natasha ran over, kneeled down, and whispered, "Mrs. Malfoy, do you remember me?"

"Where's my son?" she asked, ignoring the question.

"He's in the school and about as safe as he can be given the situation. Mrs. Malfoy, your life force is sapping away. Let me help you." She placed her wand to Mrs Malfoy's temple and the golden light glowed like sunlight. She blinked several times. "Mrs. Malfoy, please, try to stay safe and be defensive; don't attack people. Please. Too much blood is being shed for nothing." Natasha rose and helped her stand.

"I'm glad Draco's found you," she said lowly and glanced around. The words hurt due to what she had just decided. Then again, he was half the reason she was doing this.

"If any Death Eaters ask, say I helped you because I'm a Healer. Don't mention any of this to anyone except your husband." She turned again and fired more curses. She whipped around as she ran away and whisper shouted, "Sorry if I kill your sister. It's a mutual hate at least. Not to mention the way she treats Draco." Mrs. Malfoy's face turned slightly sour. Natasha had already had a flicker of hope that she would disapprove of her immediately which would ease the already painful idea of leaving Draco, but that was diminished.
