Natasha Prince
A week after arriving at Muriel's, Natasha decided she didn't want to stay any longer. She knew she was dangerous to have around considering the Death Eaters were after her since she was an escapee. She decided to first tell this idea to Arthur Weasley.
She approached him cautiously. "Mr. Weasley?" she addressed him cautiously.
"Yes?" he said with an edge on his voice. She knew he didn't favor her because of her relation to Severus, the Malfoys, and she was Slytherin.
"I've been thinking, and I think it'd be best for me to return to Hogwarts and accept punishment," she said slowly.
"What?" he implored.
"It's illegal for me to be here and I think Neville would appreciate the information I could pass to him. I'm not afraid of the punishment, and it'd be better that way."
"Are you serious?" he asked with a strange look on his face.
"Deadly. I've made my decision. Anyway, with my questionable heritage, not to mention having Mudblood carved into my chest-"
"Don't say that," he lectured.
"It's true," she said simply. "I want to leave. To be honest, I want to give 'em hell too. They won't kill me, most likely. I'd like to —shall I say— speak to Severus about his poor behavior. I think it'll hurt a bit more to see his sis suffering than your average person." That seemed to win him over.
The next day, she apparated with a Dillusionment charm to Hogsmeade. She walked to the school and poked around outside until she saw Severus walking a Death Eater away from the school. She walked up to him silently after the Death Eater apparated away. "Brother," she rasped. He didn't even jump but turned.
He held out his hand and murmured, "Apparition." She did as told, and they appeared in the office. She removed the charm and became visible. "Where have you been?" he demanded.
"Where have you been?" she shouted with a sudden surge of anger. "You said you'd protect me. You said you'd keep me away from him. You allowed me to stay there!"
He didn't react to her tone.
"My memories gone and I don't know how my own fucking powers work! I want to remember who the blonde one is, who the black-haired one is, who they all are! Have you thought of how I feel? I'm sixteen and going through a damn war alone."
He still didn't react and waited to know where she had been.
She turned away from him and shoved a chair out of her way. "Remus actually cares about me," she muttered as she left.
"Come back here, little girl!" He grabbed her wrist to prevent her from leaving. It was effective ...until it wasn't.
She froze dead in her tracks. She turned back and glared at him so fiercely he recoiled. A small bruise began to form where he'd grabbed her due to her continuous malnutrition. Her thoughts fell down a well of past trauma and pain. "All Snapes are the same," she whispered without reducing her glare. His face turned to horror as he realized what he had actually done by abandoning her and hurting her. She left without another word.
