Natasha Prince
Natasha walked back to the living room and stood beside the couch, looking at Draco, still stretched out across it. "Move, my love."
"What if I don't wanna?" he taunted.
"I'll force you to."
"You probably could, by magic or strength." He sat up, and she sat down. He laid his head back into her lap. "Much more comfortable, thanks."
"Dork," she teased as she leaned back. She took some of his hair and twirled it in her fingers.
"I know." He closed his eyes and opened them after a few seconds. "I wanna sleep more, but I like looking at your face."
"Wow."
"It's true, princess." She shook her head. "Is your hair as long as it was before? I can't tell when it's up like that." She took her hair out of its bun and it fell down. "It is. Lovely." He fiddled with the ends of her hair. "Touching your hair was my favorite way to relax. Especially while you had your hand in mine."
"I think it's time to take care of that bogart up in the attic, my love."
"Alright, princess."
"I love you."
"I love you too." He sat up. She stood and started to leave, but he grabbed her shoulder before she could. He stood up and kissed her. He laid his head on her shoulder and squeezed her. "Alright, I'm done," he said and sank into the couch. Natasha ruffled his hair before leaving.
She went to the kitchen, where the boys had just finished eating. "Boggart time?" The two boys nodded. She led them up the stairs to the attic. "I trust you both know what a boggart is." she said as she looked back. They nodded as she continued to lead them up. "So, all you have to say is riddikulus. You try." They both repeated her. "Good. Be ready to face your fears." She opened the wardrobe. It came out, and Natasha pushed Albus forward. It turned into Delphi. A tremor went through him.
"I don't know if I can do this."
"Just try Albus. Scorpius is here too. I'm here. She's not real. Focus on those things."
"R-riddikulus." Nothing happened.
"Try again, Albus. Have a clear picture of what you need to do."
"Riddikulus!" Delphi's hair turned all blue as well as her her skin and clothes. Blue fairy wings sprouted from her back. She turned around, confused and started chasing her wings.
"Wonderful! Your turn Scorpius!" He stepped forward, nervous looking but smiling slightly. It spun and turned into Draco, sick and dying. "This is going to be more difficult. Make him better, happier. Something that'll make you happy."
"O-okay." He limply said the incantation. Nothing happened.
"Try again. You're father is alive and well downstairs." He tried again. Nothing happened. "Fears like these are difficult. I'll try." Scorpius stumbled back, eyes wide. The figure didn't change as Natasha stepped forward. She imagined him as she saw him minutes ago. She smiled as she chanted. It changed to himself.
"My dad doesn't like that in real life, does he?" Scorpius asked no one in particular.
"He does to me," Natasha whispered. The figure swirled into Bellatrix Lestrange. "Beautiful to ugly, huh?" Bellatrix bared her teeth and took out her knife.
"Mudbloods gonna die."
"Are we? You failed before, didn't you? Voldemort's dead, just like you." Bellatrix threw the knife. Natasha turned it to smoke. "Dobby was enough! RIDDIKULUS!" she roared. Bellatrix turned into the dead version of herself, laughing but lifeless.
Albus and Scorpius looked horrified. "Sorry, she tortured me." She revealed the MB to them again. "Remember. She used the Cruciatus curse on me several times. The way she treated Draco..." She shook her head. "I'm sure when she found out we were dating, she was hysterical." She smiled evilly.
"You were dating before?" Scorpius asked curiously.
"Yes. I was held in Malfoy Manor for being muggleborn. Voldemort used Draco to inflict punishment back then." A shiver went through her. "He couldn't use the Cruciatus curse on me because we went to school together as I told you before. Severus told me Draco always liked me and that was why, but that's beside the point. Voldemort thought it'd be quite the punishment to keep me locked in his room. Voldemort didn't know I have healing powers and healed him after Voldemort punished him whether it was physical or mental pain. One night, he was pissed off, and we snuck out to Hogsmeade. Voldemort was very wrong."
"But when did you start dating?" Scorpius asked.
"Taken quite the interest, haven't you? Hogsmeade, at Christmas time. It was at the Three Broomsticks. There was this song, I still don't know what it's called, and we danced. We were under mistletoe. I kissed his nose. And he decided to do that again last night."
"So you're really in love with my dad?"
"Yes, I am."
"Why'd you leave?" he asked tentatively.
"Don't tell your father this, okay? He blames himself enough. During the battle of Hogwarts, I told him to fight against Voldemort or run. He was too afraid to. I told him he had to make a decision. He said he couldn't. I told him I loved him before I walked away. He didn't say it back. I was convinced he made his decision. I was a mess from losing my brother, my recently made godfather Remus, Tonks, and Fred. I was done being tortured. I went home to the family I had on my other side."
"Oh," Scorpius said.
"I'm glad I did. I had a chance to become myself. Draco had a chance to meet your mother and have you."
"You're happy about that?" Albus asked incredulously as Scorpius's mouth hung open slightly.
"Of course. What'd I do without you guys?" She smiled and pulled them both into side hugs.
