Forgiveness

Laxus' POV

It's now Friday, almost a week after what happened, and I'm struggling with giving Lucy her space. I was such a douche, I haven't been able to apologise to her yet, and it really is annoying me. Wendy keeps telling me that she seems fine, and is completely engrossed with work at the moment: my Gramps has requested a original design, as well as a few others. I'm glad that she's on her feet, especially after the story that Makarov told me.

Luckily, Gray signed us to his record company, and he promised us we won't be performing until another few months, so we can try to live normal lives. Gramps has offered me a job at Fairy Tail, and I'm working tonight as my first shift. He's trained me and I now know how to make basic cocktails and drinks: none of the specials yet, unless that customer can instruct me.

And you wouldn't believe that Sting and Rogue have finally confessed their feelings for each other. On Wednesday they told each other how they felt, and instantly became an item. After 3 years of knowing each other they finally become a couple. I couldn't be happier for the two of them.

Wendy discovered Romeo moping in the park, and they connected again. She's been a lot cheery lately, and a grin on her face; which makes us tease her endlessly. And it seems like everyone's forgotten about my drunken incident. For now.

Out the corner of my eye, I spot a familiar friendship group giggling into the bar, the streetlights making them glow, and in the middle of them all is Lucy herself. My jaw hits the floor, and Bickslow had to hit me to gain my attention back to work: a strapless violet dress is hugging her body, her hair let down for the first time I've seen, and a tattoo is newly printed on her hand: her hand red from being sore. She looks really happy, until she sees me, and her face drops. Her friends notice me and strangely push her forward, and onto a bar stool.

"Good evening miss." I smile kindly. "What may I get you?"

"The Fiery Heart!" She raised a blonde eyebrow. "Do you know how to make that drink?"

"I'm afraid that I don't, will you help me out."

"Raspberry Liqueur, White Wine, and a shot of Vodka." She pointed at a suitable glass with a painted finger nail; little golden bolts, with white as its background.

"Lucy, I'm sorry." I frown whilst mixing her drink.

"You should be." She hunches in her seat, her head in hands.

"I mean it. I was a drunk dick."

"Yeah, but you're also a kind dick." She smiled, taking the drink out my hand.

"I guess I'm kind." I try not to blush.

"I forgive you." She paid and walked away.

"Hey Laxus!" Sting and Rogue approached my gormless self.

"Laxus?" Rogue waves a hand in front of my face.

"Sorry, what's up?" I put the money in the register.

"First off, two apple martinis." Sting said, putting down a note.

"Coming right up." I get started with mixing the drinks.

"And second, what did Lucy have to say?" Rogue asked, holding Stings hand.

"She said she forgave me."

"Seriously. She didn't press charges or anything." Sting flapped, turning to look at the blonde.

"No, she told me I should be sorry. Yet she forgave me." I shrugged my shoulders.

"Hey, we should double date!" Sting burst out, a grin on his face.

"Just because she forgave me, doesn't mean she wants to go on dates with me." I hand them their drinks.

"Just ask her." Rogue sipped his drink.

"I'm going to eventually." I sigh.

"If you don't, someone else will take her from you. You've given her some space and she's forgiven you. Ask her out for Sunday." Sting beamed, excited like a five year old toddler.

"Sting, Honey." Rogue patted his boyfriend. "Calm down."

"Sorry Rogue." He breathes in deeply.

"Wow." I gasped at their love for another.

"Wow, what?" Rogue was confused.

"That's the quickest I've ever seen Sting calm down before."

"Shut it Boltie!" Sting shouted.

Lucy's POV.

I giggle at Laxus' nickname, and all my friends become silent.

"What?" I ask. An evil grin painted Erza's face.

"HEY BOLTIE!" She yelled, silencing the entire bar.

"Erza!" I hiss, but the rest of my friends are smiling like something was planned. So is Sting and Rogue. "What did you do?!" I point a rude finger at them.

"BOLTIE!" Erza repeats, Mira chipping in. He tried to ignore them.

"BOLTIE!" All my friends yell at the top of their lungs.

"WHAT?" He finally answers.

"LUCY FORGAVE YOU!" They say in unison.

"AND!"

"ASK HER OUT!"

"I FUCKING HATE YOU LOT!" I burst into hysterics and almost fall out my chair. And everyone else is soon laughing with me, while Laxus just stands confused. "Well Laxus." I yell.

"Lucy." He yells back.

"ASK ME OUT THEN!"

"WILL YOU GO ON A DATE WITH ME!"

"I WILL!" I giggle, taking a sip on my drink.
