LaLu ~ Unexpected Love

Years Later

Lucy's POV

Red leapt on my back as we walked down to the market. After our wedding I got pregnant with Red, my 5 year old son. Layla is now 8 and couldn't be any cuter.

During the years that we got married, Sting and Rogue adopted a girl named Daisy who was celebrating her 5th birthday next week; Aries married Leo, and was expecting her first child, they were planning on calling him Gale; Levy and Gajeel are engaged and their wedding is in a couple of years, and I'm her maid of honour; Aquarius handed over her tattoo parlour to Capricorn as she went to work abroad with Scorpio; Gray and Juvia are still running their music business successfully; Erza started working at Fairy Tail to earn more so she could look after her kid, Ariel, as the father ran away; Wendy and Romeo planned a vacation together for a few weeks; Eric and Natsu were learning how to cook, and Eric met a girl called Kinanna, and they get on well. So a lot has happened over the years.

Layla held hands with Laxus and I couldn't be happier with my life. We've been renovating the house so they can have separate bedrooms when they become older: when Layla is 10.

The market was slightly busy so we browsed and Red spotted a cake stall, which we paid a little visit.

"Mummy! Can we get the strawberry cake?" Red squealed, grinning on my shoulders.

"Would you like a strawberry cake Layla?" Laxus lifted her up to look at it.

"Can we? Please?" She pulled her puppy dog eyes and I soon bought the cake. That's our pudding sorted for a couple of days. 

"What shall we do today kids?" I asked whilst sipping on some hot chocolate.

"Can we spend the night at Ariel's?" Layla smiled brightly. "Can we have a sleepover?"

"We'll have to say what her mummy says. But most likely she'll say yes." Laxus ruffled her hair.

"Shall we go and find out?" We all walk off to Erza's, laughing and having even more fun than earlier.

Laxus' POV

Erza had allowed Red and Layla to stay the night at hers, treating them to smores in a built fire in her back-garden. It was lovely seeing our children having fun with each, making amazing friends with each other. During that moment Erza confessed something to us; Ariel's father had tried reaching out to the both of them, a few weeks ago, and Erza was a mess. I admit she was being extremely brave, being able to put on a mask for Ariel but she didn't know what to do. Needless to say me and Luce gave her some advice, but we shouldn't affect her decision because it's life-altering for the both of them. It's her call.

Me and Lucy get home just after 9pm.

"What shall we do then?" I stroked Lucy's hair as she rested her head on my lap. "Seeing as our kids are at Erza's!"

"What shall we do?" She looked at me with her chocolate eyes, her blonde hair swept behind her ears, and I kissed her gently. The sweet kiss didn't last long as it would've made her uncomfortable. 

"You choose." I whisper, our lips a few centimeters apart.

"Can we stay in tonight?" Her hands cupped my face, pulling me into another kiss. Her hands then weaved into my hair, slightly tugging at the ends. 

"Of course we can." 

Our make-out session led to the bedroom and we were pulling at each others clothes. Lucy giggled as she fell onto our bed. Our lips met again, our tongues dancing with each other. I unhooked her bra and teased her for a good amount of time. A moan escaped from her lips and she pulled me back up for a kiss.

"You have protection?" She panted, as I searched my drawers.

"Yeah. I do." I say giving her a sly grin.
