Nuo Su Chen's Vision of the Future

"Qing He greets ancestor."

"...Come in."

A tired voice answers Nishui Guo who had clasped his hands together to bow in front of a wooden cabin.

The size of the wooden cabin cannot be considered large and despite its somewhat plain appearance the air that comes from it would cause anyone to feel pressured.

This is where the Nuo family's ancestor, Nuo Su Chen lives.

Walking forward and opening the cabin's door Nishui Guo walks inside but just as he is about to say something his expression quickly changes drastically into that of immense shock. He finds the sight in front of him to be something that he has a difficult time accepting.

"An-Ancestor you..."

Sitting near the back walls of the wooden cabin is an elderly man with pure white hair.

The wide sleeves of the elderly man's dark robes made his slender and withered tree branch like arms even more obvious when compared to it.

From head to toe this elderly man looks to have reached his end as a dense air of death Qi exudes from his body.

Seeing Nuo Su Chen's appearance being vastly different from what he had remembered causes Nishui Guo's eyes to be filled with extreme grief as he immediately falls onto his kneels.

Nuo Su Chen shakes his head and gestures for Nishui Guo to stand back up to which Nishui Guo does and walks forward to sit down in front of the elderly man.

"Shuang'er? Is she safe?"

Recalling the price that he had been forced to pay to Ye Gui Feng Nishui Guo once more felt his heart bleed.

"The price you paid matters not. Tell me was the youth you met someone that looked like this?"

Waving a hand Nuo Su Chen causes an image to manifest and the image depicts the familiar face of Ye Gui Feng.

"Yes. He called himself Xie Huangzi."

"Then everything is fine."

"What do you mean?"

"My current appearance comes from attempting to foresee into the future to find a method for our Nuo family's continued existence into... A very distant time period."

Nuo Su Chen isn't certain of when that time period is but he does know that it will be a very long time before it comes into fruition.

Knowing that Nuo Su Chen is a powerful expert in the arts of divination Nishui Guo immediately connects the dots.

"Ancestor you're saying that he-"

"Not him."

Nuo Su Chen shakes his head and begins to explain.

"But someone related to him and this person will help us form a tie to him in an indirect manner. If in the future a clansman of the Yao family appears near our domain be sure to take them in. I'm not completely sure of what I had seen but I know for a fact that this person you met today is someone that we must absolutely be on good terms with."

Nishui Guo can evidently see the light of respect that Nuo Su Chen has in his eyes when looking at the image of Ye Gui Feng.
