"Then can I assume that you're someone who had come from the Primordial Continent?"

Towards this question the woman nods.

"My physical body has already perished. Right now I am but a soul that's going to be extinguished in due time."

A light of reminiscence appears in the woman's eyes and a sense of sadness appears in her smile as she asks-

"Do you wish to hear a story about a certain fool?"

"A fool?"

"There was once a very, very foolish man in the Primordial Continent. This story takes place before the previous ancient era. Yes... Perhaps... Five eras back."

A tired sigh comes out of the woman's mouth as she recalls these memories.

"..."

The words said by the woman confirms Ye Gui Feng's speculations about there being numerous "ancient" worlds in the far past.

"That fool had been very close to stepping into the realms of an Exalted Celestial. But a mistake on his part caused all of it to come crumbling down."

Although the woman is calling this person a fool there is something about the light in her eyes and her voice when calling out that fool that made it obvious that she had felt something for them.

"..."

For some reason Ye Gui Feng felt a strange sense of familiarity towards this woman as his caution and wariness towards her drops.

"...What was that mistake?"

"He chose to save a person... A person who should have been very insignificant to him. That person should have died that day but that fool decided to appear before them and attempted to save them from the hand of an Exalted Celestial."

"..."

Constricting his eyes slightly Ye Gui Feng felt an air of grief and bitterness coming off of the woman as the demon butterfly behind her beats its giant wings lightly.

"That incident shook the domains of that Exalted Celestial as that fool fought against an opponent that he shouldn't have been capable of defeating for seven days and seven nights. Ultimately he succeeded in taking that insignificant person away with him but the cost had been his life. I ask you, do you think an insignificant person is worth risking your life for?"

Pondering for a bit Ye Gui Feng eventually sighs.

"What makes you think that that person might have been insignificant to that fool you speak of?"

"If they can live without having them in their lives they should have been insignificant."

"But is that really so? If that fool is willing to come rushing to that insignificant person when they found out that they are in danger it meant that they were never insignificant to begin with."

Towards these words the woman laughs in a whispering volume of voice.

"Do you know why I call this person a fool?"

"...Why?"

"Because they only realized that insignificant person's importance in their heart when they are on the verge of losing them and losing their future together."

"..."

As Ye Gui Feng works to process these words in his head he can't help but chuckle in a pitying manner.
