It's a boy!
"Awwwwwe" I said. I teared up a little. I was happy. I wanted a boy. "Look at my Tj; Trenton Jr." He told me I was due on December 20. I got a little sad because Lil D.D was due on December 22. The bright side to these specialist visits, is their technology is more advanced so they can see baby weight and things earlier. Tj was 12 ounces.
I got down from the table, put my clothes on. The Dr told me to schedule an appointment for next week. I would be seeing the specialist every week until they say so. After scheduling my appointment, I got in my car and called my husband. " Its a boy!" I said lol can you guess what he said? Yeah he knew that too! After hanging up with him I text my family and called my mom and Aunt Debra. They were excited about Tj. I made it to work.....
About 4:45 I went to go use the bathroom. I noticed that I had brown stuff in my panties. My heart sank "oh no not again" I wasn't in pain or anything, but y'all know what happened the last time I seen brown stuff. I got up and remained calm. No matter what happens you have to stay calm for Tj. I called my Dr. One of the sweet girls told me he was at the hospital doing deliveries. I explained to her what was happening. She told me since its almost 5 and we're about to close, just go up there and go to labor and delivery and he can check you out. I thanked her and hung up the phone. I clocked out and punched it all the way from Arlington to Harris Methodist Southwest.
I got off the elevator and went to the nurse station. I told her who my Dr was and she put me in a room and told me he would be in shortly. I went to the room and sat down on the bed. I had to go pee again. Just as I came out the bathroom my Dr walked in. "Hey Tia what's going on?" He asked "I was at work and went to the bathroom. After I peed I noticed brown stuff, and you know what happened the last time I seen brown stuff" I said " yeah, well let's check and see what's going on" he said. He left out of the room to give me privacy. He didn't even have to tell me what to do, I knew the drill. I sat on the table and he knocked on the door and came back in just in time. I laid back on the bed with my knees up. He took some gel an went in. "Um Tia" he said "yes" I replied back eagerly. " Are you sure your not in pain?" He asked concerned. "No I feel fine. Why?" I asked. "Honey you're dilated to a 5/6" I shot up " I'M WHAT??!!!!!!!"
