A/N: Its slightly short and sucky because I'm kind of delusional at the moment, but i hope you enjoy, nonetheless! Dedicated to my friend Christina, because every once in a while, she'll text me and ask for an update.
Annoying, yes, but very inspirational and motivational as well.
Love you!

"The elimination of fornication is the key to a happy life in teenagers!" The elderly baptist preacher bangs the pulpit, earning many, "Amen," 's from the crowd. I roll my eyes, and realize Liam did as well. God, now we look like some in-sync couple who have sex all the time.
Perfect.
"Like Song of Songs says, 'Do not awaken young love until it is time!' These teenagers don't know when it's the right time, and it's our jobs to teach them when!" As he rants on, basically foaming at the mouth, Liam places his hand on my knee, tracing small circles with his thumb. Tingles shoot through my leg, and I send him a glare.
Yeah, no touching when the preacher is expressing how fornication needs to be banned. I focus my attention on the other side of the little church, one of the women from earlier sending me mean looks and burning a hole through Liam's hand. Her stares annoy me, since she doesn't even know me. So, I do the most brazen thing I can think of to annoy her-
I move his hand up.
I know what you're thinking. Not to any inappropriate place, but just a couple of inches above my knee, enough to drive her bananas. Her eyes widen and her nostrils flare, and if looks could kill, we'd both be stoned by now. Suddenly, she stands, her hand raised and her face as red as a tomato. "Yes, Ms. Patterson?" The pastor questions, seemingly glad to be able to take a breath.
"I just wanted to express my aggravation with our teenagers in here," She adjusts her flower-y hat with a huff, "There you are, channeling the word of the Lord about fornication, and they're committing the act as we speak!" She hisses, glaring us into the pew.
Liam, however, doesn't seem embarrassed. He coolly speaks, "I'm pretty sure that would involve more moans and, well, nakedness." He shrugs, and I can barely contain my laughter, unlike the other teens, who burst into chuckles all around the room. She presses a hand to her chest, "I never-"
"Got laid? That'd explain why you're a Ms.," He jokes, and I can't help but burst into laughter- neither can everyone else, save a few offended older women with insulting hats. "Now, now Mr. Sanford, thats no way to treat your elders," The pastor chides, but also has a ghosting smile. "Yes Pastor," He says innocently and bashes his eyes like a six-year-old girl.
"Anyway, that concludes the sermon today! If you'd turn to hymn number one ninety-eight in the hymnal, and we'll sing about the old rugged cross!"

"I cannot believe you said that!" I chime unbelievingly at Liam, who merely smirks down at me, his arm slung lazily over my shoulder. "Well," He flips his hair, "they had it coming. No one insults my girl." My heart almost falls out of my chest at his sentiment- his girl... I smile warmly to myself before I'm pulled tighter to Liam's side. At first I think he's just being loving, but when he stops walking and clenches me even tighter, is when I realize something is wrong.
I look up to see why he stopped, and there sits Wilder, looking as menacing and disturbed as ever, flanked by Kade and one of his groupies. Liam instantly pushes me behind him, "Why don't you go find Brian, ok?" I nod and scurry off to the group of people, spotting Brian with two other college-aged people plus Jameson.
"Brian!" I say as soon as I get within hearing distance. His head snaps over to me, as do the other three's, and I speak, "W-we have a problem." His eyes shift to where I'd just come from, and he curtly nods, excusing himself. Jameson follows of his own accord, sensing the need for back-up. As I start towards the boys now surrounding Liam, Brian takes hold of me, cinching my waist tightly as to tell me to play along- not like I wasn't going to anyway.
"Kade," Brian says, his chest puffing up in dominance, "How nice to be graced with your presence again. Were you in the service?" "Yeah. I saw the little scene between your girl, your brother, and the old woman. If she's your's, then why are Liam's hands all over her?" He questions, not moving from his place behind Wilder. Brian shrugs causally, "We pass her around."
It's sad that I've gotten used to hearing that statement, although I still have to grin and bear it. "When is it going to be my turn?" Wilder speaks up, and I cower behind Brian's bulky form. "Go to hell," Jameson snarls at him. "Oh, that's right," Wilder quips, cupping his chin with his hand, "I already had my turn. At the party," He talks to the boys behind him, "She's great, you should try her out sometime-" He's cut off from his insults by Liam, who tackles him.
"Did I make little William angry?" He chuckles, which earns him a sharp right hook. "Is that all you got, Sanford?" Two more hits are distributed. "He used to hit you like this, didn't he, Annie?" I stiffen and back away, hoping no one noticed. However, I'm unlucky, and Brian and Jameson both glance at me.
"And you liked it, you little slut," He continues to taunt me, earning more bone-splitting hits from Liam. "He's coming for you, Annie! He's coming! He's getting out for parole, and when he does he'll be here to claim whats truly his!" As he's saying this in a slightly delusional voice, I'm fiercely shaking my head and backing away, hoping that all of this is just a bad dream. "Analise?" Brian asks, turning to look at me, but I'm already running in the opposite direction, tears spilling down my face rapidly.
"Analise dear, what's wrong-" I speed past Cindy and Greg and Ian, pulling my phone hurriedly out of my back pocket. I click on the number I didn't think I'd call for a while as another set of tears rams through me like a freight train. "Hello?" I hear from the other line, and I sniffle and wipe my nose, "Mommy, I wanna come home."
A/N: So? Do you think she's actually going to go home? Is Devon really getting out on parole? And will she ever be referred to as something other than a hoe?
