"Artemis, gising ka na ba? Maligo ka na at magbihis, Alpha Charles is here to see you." Sabi ni Tito Oliver sa isip ko.
Minulat ko ang aking mga mata at umupo sa kama ko. I frowned while checking the time. Punyemas, alas siete pa sa umaga, oh! Ano nanaman bang kailangan ng lobong yun?
Padabog akong naligo at nagbihis. Naiinis ako dahil nastorbo ang tulog ko, ayaw na ayaw ko talagang nasstorbo ang tulog ko.
Simpleng damit lang ang sinuot ko, wala akong pake kung hindi sila matutuwa sa damit ko.
I had a straight face while making my way downstairs. Kahit naiinis ako, ayaw kong ipakita yun dahil ayoko namang maging bastos sa harapan ni Alpha Charles. Alpha pa rin siya, Beta lang ako. Siya rin ang ama ng mapapangasawa ko.
"Hello, Artemis. How are you?" Tanong ni Alpha Charles when I entered the kitchen.
"Goodmorning, Alpha Charles. I'm good, thank you for asking." I said.
I took the seat beside Tito Oliver, we were both facing him. Kumuha ako ng pagkain at nilagay yun sa plato ko. Maraming almusal sa lamesa dahil may bisita. Hmp, can my pack stop pleasing this man?
"Maiwan ko muna kayo, I still have a meeting with the other pack members. Excuse me." Tito Oliver smiled before exiting the kitchen.
Pack meeting ba talaga?
"So, Artemis, nasabihan mo na ba si Evan tungkol sa imbitasyon ko?" He asked.
I nodded. "Yes, Alpha. I'm positive that he'll go." I said.
"Well, that's great! Thank you, iha," He smiled. "oo nga pala, I asked your Tito Oliver if I could host my dinner party here in your mansion and he said yes. Can you do me a favor? Can you invite the Young Alpha Evan? I really need to talk to him and I want to meet him personally. My pack wants to meet him too." He explained.
Bakit ba kasi? Ano bang pag-uusapan niyo? Kahit gustong gusto kong malaman, ayaw ko siyang tanungin. Baka kasi isipin niyang chismosa ako at naramdaman kong para sa mga Alpha lang ang pag-uusapan nila.
Tumango naman ako. "Sige po," I said. "si Evan lang po ba o pati na rin ang pamilya niya?" I asked.
He snapped his fingers. "Oh, thanks for reminding me. I think it's better if his whole family would come. So yes, Artemis, invite his family as well."

I nodded once again. "Sige po, Alpha Charles."
"Thank you so much, Artemis. Ngayon palang, masasabi ko na talaga na magiging mabuting asawa ka kay Trevon." He smiled at me.
Huminga ako ng malalim. I dare you to say that in front of my Evan Jaye. I. Dare. You.
But sad, I think he doesn't know that Evan is my real mate. My only mate, and the only guy that I want to marry.
I faked a smile. "Thank you po."
"Mauna na ako. Enjoy your breakfast, iha." He said before leaving me.
Tinitigan ko naman ang mga pagkaing nakahain. His words made me lose my appetite.

She's still furious with the whole wedding shit with Trevon, yung pag-utos ni Alpha Charles na imbitahan si Evan sa kasal at sa dinner party niya at si Tito Oliver.
