What's Even Going On!!

Do you all hate me for that last chapter?

So hey guys! I just wanted to interrupt the story to make this post to explain what's even happening 😂😂

You can skip this if you think you're pretty sure what the lives of Jimin and Yoongi are like, but this is here just in case, cus let's be real, I'm even confusing myself.

A good author would probably have this all figured out before writing the story... Me... Well I just make it up as I go along 😅

So basically in the original story it's set in America so loads of states/places are involved. So the mum wants him to move to like Chicago but he wants to go to San Francisco and all this complicated stuff.

I literally only know like the places BTS members come from in Korea and Seoul so I'm trying to work with my little knowledge.

So basically to explain, I think what's happening 😂 is that Yoongi is living in Seoul currently with his cousin and Roommate Jin, who he doesn't really hate just gets annoyed by him like families do. His parents think he is studying to be a doctor (which he's in college for) but he's actually focusing on music too and is doing bits of that alongside his medical course. Now that he's graduated his parents and his mum especially wants him to move back to Daegu with them so he can carry on training to be a doctor, but Yoongi doesn't really want to do that, but can't say no to his mum.

Jimin of course is just trying to give Yoongi the love he deserves and is trying to convince Yoongi to stay in Seoul (where he lives too) but Yoongi is being a stubborn asshole at the moment. If any of you are curious Jimin is just working at Hoseok parents shoe store alongside Namjoon, and is not currently in college or doing anything serious right now.

In the original story the character of Marjorine is actually a male who wants to be identified as a female called Marjorine. She is dating Namjoon but I totally ship Namjin so I'm undecided if they're actually a couple in this story or I might make Marjorine into Namjoon's little sister, and he just devotes himself to her to protect her. I'm thinking I like that idea better but if I write it in, it might come back to bite me in the ass in the later chapters when I have to try and alternate the original story more. So for now I'm not actually going to say what Marjorine is, but that she was born a male and is very important to Namjoon in some way or another.

Also! This is probably gonna mess me up even more when I get to the later chapters, but in the original story as well, Jimin and Yoongi don't actually see each others faces until they meet... And as you can see I have not chosen to do that. Obviously that's quite a shocking and important bit of the original story so that's most likely going to take me a while to figure out a way for me to twist that bit and cut/change that whole meeting reveal thing out. But please bare with me, I promise you that I will do this some way or another!

Anyway, I hope that has cleared some things up and helped you if any of you are confused.

I was confusing myself mainly with Yoongi's character, cus he studies in Seoul but is constantly in Daegu with his parents. If any of you remember that movie scene as well when both cinemas had different times, just imagine that Jimin was in Seoul and Yoongi was in Daegu at the time, that's why they couldn't watch it together.
