POE'S POV

I don't see why Finn is so worried. Rey is a grade A badass. We watch as she goes into the hut, and Finn turns to me.
"Can we talk? Man to man?" He asks, sweat accumulating on his forehead and nose.
"Sure. Is this about what I think it is?" Probably.
"Uh, that depends on what you're thinking, but yes. I'm freaking out, man! The whole Rey and Rose thing is really messing with my head."
I'm pretty sure my jaw just hit the floor. I feel like an idiot. Finn always talks about Rey 'cause he's nuts for her!
"I don't really know what to say, I thought you and Rose were just friends."
That part is true. They've only known eachother for about a day, so how is he confused? Finn sighs, and his voice catches in his throat.
"On Crait, when I went for the battering ram canon,"
"Which was totally stupid-! Sorry. Please continue," I say apologetically.
"When I went for the battering ram canon, Rose saved me by crashing her ship into mine."
I never heard how she actually got hurt, or what actually happened there, so this is pretty much new news to me. But I'm gonna be a good friend and try to focus on Finn's current situation.
"Then she kissed me," He blurts out.
I'm not the greatest at social cues, so I don't know how I'm supposed to react to this information.
"Um, is that good or bad or..." I shrug. Believe it or not, I haven't had much luck with women. I know, it's crazy.

Both of us go silent not just because of the awkwardness of the conversation, but because we both hear murmurs coming from inside the hut.
"Alright that's it. I'm going in," Finn sits up but I put my hand on his shoulder.
"No. She wanted to go in there alone. Plus, it's probably some cool Jedi stuff." Wow. Good quick thinking. I know I said the right thing because Finn breaks out in a big smile.
"Probably. Did you know that she's technically a Jedi Master?" Finn says in awe.
So she's like the whole package, then. She's the second best pilot in the Resistance, a Jedi Master, and super sweet.
"No, Finn. I didn't know that." I finally say.

We stand there, trying our best not to listen to Rey's conversation. Then suddenly, Finn's face fills with horror. He starts to babble frantically.
"Poe Poe Poe! You need to-"
Massive tentacles squeeze around my waist like a vice. It literally feels like my organs are gonna turn into mush at any moment. Before I can reach my blaster, it drags me under water just as I see Rey burst out of the tent.
